Busy during weekends and evenings but worth the wait for the food taste and ambiance (not fancy but decent)

In a world full of rush and noise, Star Chaat Cuisine stands as a reminder that simple, well-prepared food can ground the spirit. Just steps away from the Regal movie theater, it is an ideal stop before or after a film—close enough that one can enjoy a meal without haste, yet far enough to feel like a short, welcome pause from the world outside.

We ordered garlic naan, raita, basmati rice, and kadai paneer. Each dish arrived without fanfare, but with the quiet confidence of flavors that speak for themselves. The garlic naan was warm and fragrant, soft in hand yet firm enough to scoop. The raita was cool and calming, a balance to everything around it. The basmati rice was light, each grain holding its shape, and the kadai paneer was rich and steady—spiced, but not in a way that overwhelms. It reminded me that strength and warmth can coexist.

Star Chaat Cuisine does not try to be anything other than what it is: good food, served with sincerity, in a location that makes life a little easier. One does not need to expect perfection from the world to appreciate what is right in front of them. Here, there is enough to be grateful for—good food, good company, and the convenience of a movie night made simple.

In that way, it is a place worth returning to.

Used to love this place until my latest visit. They charged $13 for Gobi Manchurian and gave us under ten pieces of gobi (see picture). Bhindi ‘masala’ is dry, no masala absolutely (see picture again!). Feels like we paid crazy money for peanuts of food!

We’ve had a disappointing experience with Star Chaat Cuisine on multiple occasions. We placed catering orders twice—once for a morning pickup and once in the afternoon—and both times we had to wait 30–40 minutes past the committed pickup time.
In both cases, when we arrived at the scheduled time, we were told that the food had not even been started yet and that we would need to wait another 30 minutes or more. What was more frustrating was being told that it was somehow our fault for not calling to remind them, even though the order had already been confirmed with a specific pickup time.
For the morning order, they later said they don’t open until 11:30 AM and that we shouldn’t place an 11:00 AM order—but then why accept the order in the first place and confirm that it would be ready?
The food is good, but reliability and communication are critical for catering orders, and unfortunately that has been lacking. Accepting orders for times you can’t honor and then blaming customers for delays is not acceptable. Hoping they improve their order management and accountability going forward.

You get nice North Indian food here. Chaat items are a speciality. Presentation is attractive. If you want it spicy, tell them while placing orders. Thali meals combo with chaat is a good idea and it is tasty and filling. Staff are quite friendly. Service is efficient and quick. Ample free parking available.

All vegetarian and all great. They are pretty quick and the servings are good portions for the price. Take out is also good and easy. You can ask for spicy (or spicy plus!) Every dish we’ve had has been delicious 😊

First visit here and the food didn’t disappoint. We tried Dahi Aloo Sev Puri, Rakhi Special Thali, Spicy Misal Pav, Masala Buttermilk, and Masala Chai. The sev puri was fresh and tasty, though a bit more dahi would have been perfect. Despite its name, the Spicy Misal Pav wasn’t spicy — mild enough even for those who avoid heat, yet flavorful. The staff were friendly and polite. Overall, a good experience and worth coming back to try more dishes.

Tried their zafrani chai, it doesn’t taste like one. I would say it was worse.
