The beer selection was good, and the tap/pour concept is fantastic. I appreciate their theme days as a means to drum up more business on quieter days. I also like that there were tv screens around so you can watch sports, something I think is fun to do when you're drinking beer! When you arrive, you give them your credit card in exchange for a wristband that you use to digitally unlock and track how much you pour so they can properly charge you at the end. My wristband was fine but my friend's looked a little... um... old. It didn't seem very sanitary, considering you not only have to wear it but also constantly touch it as it is your way of getting the drinks. The main reason for the knocked off stars is the food. I know you don't go to a beer tap place for the food, however, the finger foods and snacks is a big part of the beer-drinking experience for me! And the food was not only expensive, but the portions were also small. In particular, the buffalo wings were so tiny and few that when the basket arrived, we just stared at it in disbelief. For $16, we received 5 wings! If the 5 nibbles were mind-blowing, it'd be fine, but they were mediocre at best. I love the concept and the service was good, so I'd give it another try. Maybe order the pizza and fries next time.

During the biggest 49er game of the season this far, there was one other person in the bar.I ordered the wings and they had to be the smallest chicken in existence. Left hungry and disappointed

The meal was excellent, and the service was also excellent. went on a Saturday night for supper, which was a hit but not too crowded.

Went here to check out the Tuesday Night Trivia. It was a very fun experience, the family and I thoroughly enjoyed it!There's a large selection of beer on tap, once you enter they check your ID, store your credit card info, then give you a wristband and you're good to go! Just go tap the bottom left of the beer info screen with your wrist band and you're good to pour. They charge per ounce, and I think it's actually a pretty hefty price. Especially when sometimes the first thing that comes out is foam, and you still get charge for that ounce of foam. Food was okay, just had the pepperoni pizza. Nothing special, it was fine if you're hungry. I just really enjoyed the trivia, it was a great variety of questions and questions type. A smart phone is needed to play, and some of the prizes you win from trivia helps with reducing your tap. If you're free on a Tuesday at 7pm, then come on down and check it out!

I visited Thirsty Bay to hold a large corporate event and the entire process was so seamless, our guests had a great time! I've heard so many raves about Thirsty Bay from East Bay locals, and I'm glad that I finally had the chance to try them out. Thank you Dinesh and team for hosting us.They have a HUGE selection of wines, beers, and ciders available here. There's also lots of seating inside, and some patio seating outside. Parking can be limited but there's a garage in the apartments that have retail parking on the first floor.I really loved how unique their concept is: you get a wristband, then use the wristband to pour drinks yourself. From there, it automatically calculates how many ounces you drink for the bill. I was only able to try a cider; it was delicious but definitely made me want to come back to try more drinks! The food selection was pretty extensive, I was a huge fan of their fries. They also host trivia on Tuesdays and watch parties which seem pretty popular too.

Absolute garbage. Awful service, worst hostess on the planet. As if that was not enough, they charged my credit card without permission. Luckily I had purchase protection and got my money back.

Received amazing service from a tall blonde lady in a large group I was in. I will return next time I fly out because of her.

I like this place. I may be the only one here at the moment while everyone else may be still working or at the gym! Most beer choices are decent, and if not, you can try a small amount and go back for more. Keeping your running total of ounces is a good way to tkstay sober along with UBV listing.Food may be just a requirement but helps in a pinch.

Came here on a Thursday evening to pass some time. There was only 1 other table occupied but no one to help service or provide instruction. After waiting for 10 minutes, I was finally able to receive help. I ended up pouring 13oz of a hazy IPA, which ended up costing $12. Wow. Not worth it.

Such a nice lil place to hang out. You pour your own beer so you choose what you would like to taste and then go from there. The place has games so you can hang out and have a good time no rush.

This is a really neat establishment. I come here after work on occasion and the owner and employees are the nicest folk. It's a nice place I can relax in and it has the best energy. I'm not part of the trivia teams but the questions are fun to answer on Tuesdays

Please stay away! The food is really bad and the service is awful. I was just there, half of the self-serve taps are empty. When I asked for help, the girl gave me so much attitude just to help me pour the beer. The beer is also not cold so it pours with a lot of foam and you get charged for the foam as well. I will never go back!

Enjoyed my visit here! They have a wall of various beers and wines that are self serve, pay by the ounce. When you enter, you show your id's and leave your credit card with the host. Next you get wristbands for each person, grab a table, head to the wall of beers to get a glass and start pouring! To activate, you tap your wristband sensor to the top corner of the placard of your beer of choice. It was really cool to try a lot of different beers. They have a good selection of local brews which is a big plus since you know it'll be fresh. The only con I have to say with the self serve method is you do get foam at the beginning which you have to pay for since it's by the ounce.I was pleasantly surprised with the food. The pizza was delicious with generous cheese and toppings. Fried pickles were perfect! The food is actually a big driver of why I would come back since I really enjoyed the first round and menu is reasonably priced. Pretty convenient location near the Pleasanton Bart station among the apartment complexes off De Marcus & Dublin. A nice atmosphere with plenty of seating indoors and outdoors, although the outdoor space seemed a little less utilized. Place is kept clean and I saw employees coming through frequently to tidy up areas, remove food plates, etc. They also had signage for UFC fights and trivia night which seem pretty cool. I'll stop by here again if in the area.
