Torarenbou Sushi Bistro

Loved the calamari. Husband loved the mixed udon soup which stayed hot for a while in its metal bowl. The Phoenix roll was good also , (the fried soft crab had a little bit of metallic taste to it). We both agreed the kabocha tempura was the best--the taro and sweet potato were ok. Will have to return to try more things including lunch specials. The menu is quite extensive and has items I have not tried before elsewhere. Great value: food for price. This was a great find. The shopping center has many other Asian restaurants.

I tried this place out today and was pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh and the order came out quick. I would definitely like to go back and try more things on the menu.

It's fine for the price, but don't expect top quality sushi here. Rice was over cooked and if you ever want an example of how improper knife work affects the texture of the fish this is it.

Last minute Christmas food for co workers! I guess feeding the stomach is much better than giving monetary or ugly sweater

This was our first time dining here for lunch, and it did not disappoint! There is plenty of parking available, and we didn't have to wait for a table. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The lunch menu offers a wide variety of choices at very reasonable prices. The portion sizes were generous and everything was fresh. Our family ordered the lunch combo featuring sashimi, teriyaki chicken, pork tonkatsu, and chicken tonkatsu. We will definitely be coming back!

I beleive a place like this should be celebrated a truly well put together mom and pop. Can be extremely busy at night but the hostess will always come and help. When I went only two people working the front and waited 11 tables. They deserve all the love. The sushi is some of the best man... reasonably prices go during lunch good bang for your buck spot.

This is our go-to place for take out sushi. We put in an order at 6pm with the understanding they’ll take 1 hour. We came to pick up our food at 7:20pm and was told it’ll take another 15 mins. 15 mins passes by and they still haven’t gotten to our order yet. The chef told us he had other orders ahead of ours. We ordered at 6pm! I’m truly disappointed by this poor service. Hire more people if you can’t handle the amount of customers coming through. I was really looking forward to a sushi dinner tonight but if you can’t depend on your favorite restaurant to come through with your dinner then it’s time to find another more reliable sushi place.
