I’ve been to many Sushi restaurants in Dublin, so far Nara Sushi is the best overall from the food quality, portions, pricing, authenticity and atmosphere. The service was excellent. I ordered Nara roll, Tiger roll and Regular 9pc Nigiri. All food was excellent and fresh! Also we got to try Ebi Tempura, Fried Oyster and Takoyaki as appetizers, no complaint all good. Right now they have special Spicy Tuna toro Gunkan (tuna belly fatty) that was full of flavor! One more thing, they have very good Unagi Bowl and Whe du Bap. Try them all you won’t regret :)

Nara Sushi in Dublin is a cozy Sushi restaurant for families. They offer a variety of food that comes with large portion sizes. They have high quality appetizers and main courses. They also have the fun Ramun drink and Kids will really enjoy the fun experience.

Came here as part of a work event. The ambiance is very calming and the servers were friendly from what I could recall. I tried the Cherry Blossom and Rainbow Dragon. Both of them were pretty good and are relatively filling, though one of my favorite things from this place were the appetizers. My manager ordered a large amount of appetizers for us to share and the takoyaki ball was something truly out of this world. It was savory, with a perfect texture, and had just the right amount of flavor. The calamari and pork dumplings were also very good. The calamari from what I could recall comes with a sauce that looked like ranch but had sort of a savory yet sour flavor, which was delicious. If I were closer to Dublin, this would definitely be a place that I would want to come to again.

I had a sushi craving and decided to try the Sushi Lunch Combo #3. It was a delicious, satisfying choice that came with a side salad. When the dish arrived, it had a very nice artistic presentation, 3x variety of large thick pieces of sashimi, 8x California rolls, and 2x Nigiri. It did not disappoint and melted in my mouth. Service was friendly and good. The environment was busy, clean and pleasant. Would definitely recommend.

Decided to try some place new for the night, and I totally found a jackpot!I went with a couple of friends, so we decided to explore the menu and try several of the options. The sashimi was a real standout winner to me. The salmon, in particular, tasted so fresh and it completely melted in my mouth! The presentation was also on point. The colors of the fish were so vibrant, and it really popped out to me as the waiter was bringing it over. Another dish that I enjoyed a lot was the tempura! I am admittedly quite picky when it comes to tempura because I have been to many Japanese restaurants that just don't do it justice. Nara knows how to do it right. The batter is light, crispy, and compliments the shrimp and vegetables well. I love how there was no hint of oiliness, and that was true for the fried dumplings as well. On top of all this, they have a good selection of rolls with something that was right for everyone. The fast and attentive service was a plus. They were very friendly and handled our larger group well. Food came out quickly, and we always felt taken care of. I will definitely be coming back again for the great food, service, and ambiance!

My shrimp in the sushi roll was undercooked and soggy. The fish didn’t smell to good either. . After reading the restaurant’s response. Here was my order . I did not call the restaurant back because I went to pick up my order for lunch and did not have an opportunity to return back. What a waste of $40 bucks. I've been to this restaurant twice and the food was consistently delicious and fresh. I had the teriyaki chicken lunch plate and everything on it was really good. I recommend this restaurant and will go back for sure.

Friendly service & mostly decent portions, though quite expensive food.Came for lunch on a Saturday afternoon around 1PM. The place was empty besides another table, but a few guests came in after us.Their menu has many options. We chose from their lunch menu, which consisted of various combination choices. Everything was at least $18, mostly all above $20. We got the Chicken Katsu plate, a Beef Teriyaki combo with a California roll and nigiri as the sides, and the Beef Glass Noodles, which was a special listed on the wall. The food did take quite a while to come out. Each plate had a solid amount of food, though the serving size for the glass noodles was less than I expected. I think it might also be meant to be eaten with a side of rice, so that could be why there weren't too many noodles. The chicken katsu was crispy and good, though I wasn't a fan of the sauce they included--too sour for me. I liked the flavor of the beef noodles and broth; it was oniony and slightly sweet. The three dishes came out to be $80 before tip, which I thought was quite steep. However, the food was more than enough for three adults and one child to share.I've come before and enjoyed their sushi for dinner, so it was nice to return and have a filling lunch. Overall, I think this place is a good for either lunch or dinner, as long as you're okay with the food being on the pricier side. The staff is always attentive and kind, so you can look forward to that as well.

This is our go-to sushi spot. My daughter doesn't eat raw fish BUT she will eat a spider roll. I get the regular sashimi, 9 pieces of salmon, tuna and hamachi. They are all fresh pieces of fish. My husband gets 2 rolls of which I cannot remember the name. For appetizer, I recommend the chili garlic edamame. This is so delicious and addictive. I was so tempted to place a 2nd order! The servers have all been very friendly. I do hope business is doing okay bc on Friday and Saturday evenings of what is usually busy times, there's no one inside. I do hope it is bc of take out orders? I would hate to see them go.
