From the first moment you step in that restaurant the personel give you an excellent feeling. Very courteous hosts, it is a kind restaurant to pass time with buddies or with your date. very good meals, specialist chef, competitive price and professional service. Warmly recommended.

The food was really good! Our family ordered Burgers, onion rings, chili dog, fish n coleslaw and a Vanilla Shake. My 9 year old devoured the chili dog, my husband really enjoyed his bbq bacon cheeseburger and my fish was fried to perfection, the coleslaw is homemade and so good I ordered a side to go home. The onion rings are not previously frozen they're freshly dipped and fried. The atmosphere is laid back and not fancy but real comfortable. Before we left I picked up a little antique jewelry box from their eclectic assortment of antiques and collectables for sale. This place is a hidden gem and I look forward to coming back.

I have lived in the South but this place makes the best hush puppies I've ever had. Good food, worth a stop.

The fish and chips are delicious! I love the country atmosphere and friendly service. Reminds me of home in the midwest. I come here a lot to escape the big city, and only short 30 minute road trip (from Chula Vista). Feels like a road trip when you don't have time for a road trip ?

Great time today , we were coming back from Mexico. After a long wait at the Tecate border I saw this place and decided to stop by for a beer.

My husband and I ate at this place about 35 years ago. We now live in Indiana but are snowbirds in California for the winter. Went to Barrett Junction for lunch today looking for some nostalgic memories. Worst thing I ever did. The salad came out (mostly old discolored lettuce). That should have been my clue to leave. We ordered the 3 piece fish dinner which came with that salad. The fish was tasteless, the rice and refried beans had a very strange taste, perhaps sitting on the stove too long. The hushpuppies were crisp, but also lacked any flavor. Do yourself a favor even if you are hungry. Drive on by.
