“Jamul is a little outside of my service area as a plumber, but I found myself there helping a friend with his home. On the drive home, I was hungry and thrilled to discover a Filippis Pizza on Campo Rd. I love their cheese pizza and had to stop in for a late lunch. It’s a nice place, similar to the Escondido location near me, with the Chianti bottles hanging throughout the dining room room. The staff was friendly and Amanda seated me right away and took good care of me. The cheese pizza was delicious like always. Knowing that Filippis here in Jamul, I think I will be more willing to schedule appointments out here😁”

“For our Anniversary, I chose Prime Cut. It turned out to be an excellent choice. The restaurant staff were courteous and very attentive to our needs. Our server was extraordinary. My wife had the Prime New York steak with lobster which she enjoyed and I had the Salmon with pork belly. Am not quite sure about the pork belly with salmon but it was good. We had a wonderful time and will definitely visit again.”

“We went to Hacienda Grill over the weekend for a birthday. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was awesome! Our server was very attentive and kind. I highly recommend this place. We will be coming back soon. 😊”

“Located inside Sycuan Casino, this is such a great spot to sit down, relax, and enjoy a meal. One of the best parts about this place is the beautiful view overlooking the Sycuan pool and surrounding mountains—it really adds to the whole experience.

The menu has something for everyone, including all-day breakfast (which I love) along with a variety of other delicious options. It’s become a go-to spot for my family and me whenever we’re celebrating a birthday or any special occasion.

If you come for dinner, don’t skip the bread—they serve it warm and it’s so good. Some of my favorite dishes here are the calamari, salmon, pasta, and honestly, you can’t go wrong with their breakfast either.

Definitely a place worth checking out if you’re at Sycuan and looking for a great meal with a view.”

“This was a lovely restaurant I came to for my friend's birthday. Every guest seemed to like their dish. I ordered a club sandwich (no bacon, no tomatoes) with a side of fries but I was a bit disappointed when they brought it with bacon and tomatoes. They sent it back and corrected the order, and it ended up being pretty good and very filling. The restaurant has an outdoor terrace that has a beautiful view on the pool area.”

“Although service is slow and you need plenty of patience. They only have one bartender at a time She's awfully busy and never stops. The She's great at what she does. never misses a beat. I like that she cleans my glass before she serves my wine.”

Service is fast and you get a number for your order to see it on a screen when it’s done.
It’s a grab and go place with seating accurate just to the left of the deli. You have the chance to still play at the spots or relax with one of their free self serve drink fountain.”

“maybe things have changed since all of the bad reviews, but one thing I can say is this is not a 2.7 star establishment. would i go here if I had other options available? no. but this place will take care of you when no other place is open, and the food is honestly decent. not great, but decent. can't complain when its almost 2am and we were starving”

“The pot roast and salmon were tasty. Good portions. Garlic parm fries were a bit cold and soft when served to our table. The mud pie was ok only cause it was still quite frozen. Service was a tad slow but friendly. Good atmosphere with lots of TVs around to watch sports.”

“Love coming here! The staff for the most part is always friendly (ok 9 times out of 10, the staff is usually friendly). They make your sub how you tell them to make it. Oh and let me get started on the manager, I dont know his name but he is awesome! He knows how to treat his regular customers! It makes you feel good when you spend your hard earned cash in a place where they really appreciate your business!! If I could give this place 10 stars, I would!!! :)”

“Came here for dinner around 8 during my stay at Sycuan Casino. After looking at the menu at the front, we decided what we wanted and ordered at the counter. We ordered the Shumai, Honey Walnut Shrimp, and Mongolian Beef. The food was good; had better elsewhere. The rice was a little dry. The staff was friendly during our interactions at the counter and when we got out food. No table service. The atmosphere is a little loud given the location in the casino, but we were still able to have a conversation. I wouldn't mind coming back if staying at Sycuan Casino.”
