Beautiful vinyard. Lance and Lupita were very attentive and gave us all a good experience of what San Diego can offer in terms of really good wine. We had lots of fun, and I trully recommend it. We will be visitng more often.
Excellent Virgin olive oil, as it should be, according to experts. I live in Houston.Good news is they are willing to ship. Honey is good too.we spent whole afternoon with the owner and his family. Good place to visit and I would recommend spending time with a very friendly and loving family in an excellent environment.
Outstanding location, decor and service. And the wine was great too! Came out for a birthday celebration and they took very good care of us. We will be back!
We took my 90 yr old mother here on a lovely Sunday afternoon. Our knowledgable server brought us fruit and cheese trays along with wine tasting. We had a glass of wine afterwards along with some tacos from the Dulzura Mini Market & Taqueria. My favorite wine was the 2022 Malbec, which was spicy full bodied with charcoal eminence.
We were the first customers of the day and got to spend time with the winemaker. It was an amazing experience. We did the tasting and ordered a few glasses and got three cases of wine “to go”. Wines are very unique.
I am so happy and grateful that I have came across this beautiful winery, this is my second time here and yet it is getting better and better every time. Lance and his wife are such wonderful people that brings joys and love into wine and San Diego area. The wine is amazing and the Cab franc is my favorite. Definitely my new spot. Highly recommended.
We had a great time at this local spot! The wines were excellent and the owners, Lupita and Lance, were more than generous in their time, knowledge and eagerness to teach about their wines and other local vineyards. We will def be back soon and bring others. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Nestled along Highway 94, an excellent place full of natural landscapes where you can relax while savoring exquisite wines, In my humble opinion, the Nebbiolo and Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 are nothing short of unique masterpieces. The owner, Lupita, ensures that every guest feels cherished, my wife, our canine companions (hehehe), and I had an incredible experience in this hidden gem.Do not miss the chance to indulge in their delicious honey and olive oil.A must to go!!! widely recommended!!!
Our experience was AMAZING!!! The service was spectacular, we loved the wines, our favorites were the Rose Cabernet, Nebbiolo and Cabernet 2017?, we took Honey and Olive Oil (delicious!!!),It is a small winery but the house is super nice, every detail is beautiful and the place is very quiet! It will definitely be one of my favorites!
I will begin by saying that coming here reminded me of the old California days in Napa and later on Temecula before they went corporate. Where you had more of a direct contact and attention from the people who made your wine. Lance and Lupita are awesome hosts. They make you feel like they known you forever, they are welcoming, enjoy spending time with you and have nothing but positive energy. The place is cozy and warm. It is the kind of country side where you can spend the afternoon and wonder why you ever care if you needed to do anything else. Honestly just bring some good vibes and your palate and have a great time. For the wines: the whites I tried just had a great range. All metal no barrel. Great layers and good flavors. These wines will go well with seafood, Indian food, Tex mex, or some easy pastries or savory pies. Their rose wines are great utility wines. They are not sweet wines. They are flavorful companions for a good early afternoon lunch, hanging out with friends, enjoying a good sunset, but from a food perspective nothing better for a good light pasta with seafood, a sandwich, grilled Japanese bbq, or some brisket nachos. The reds are a different story. From their lighter reds to the more bold flavors they manage to deliver reds that will need nothing but time in your hands. But if you want to pair them honestly this is big bold bbq or grilled meats. Big portobello or veggies grilled with balsamic vinegar, sausage sandwich, meat pies, tortas, etc. but a great cheese plate and a free afternoon will do just fine.Honestly you will be missing so much by not coming here and doing as little as possible but enjoy relaxing and trying the wines. Lupitas bread olive oil and honey plate will bring happiness and if you get hungry just go next door and get a taco.

Exquisite local wines and sweetest host couple!
We just spent a wonderful day visiting Valentina Vineyard with the best hosts - Lupita and Lance. They spoiled us with their amazing hospitality. As we enjoyed tasting many of their beautiful wines (so many great ones, you have to go yourself), we also had the opportunity to taste their delicious olive oil, honey, and even some marmalade. And because everything was so good, we had to purchase all these to bring home with us to enjoy. So many people in San Diego don’t realize we have this and many other vineyards in Dulzura and Jamul. These are hidden gems to be discovered. And while you’re down there, stop in for the best tacos at the Dulzura Market and Taqueria right next door.We look forward to going back again and again
This is a lovely location with good wines in a beautiful setting. Mayela did a great job of hosting a small group. I'll definitely be going back and taking others.
Simply the best! We spent a beautiful afternoon at this very cute wine tasting room at Valentina Vineyards, tasting a variety of their wines alongside some tasty treats accompanied by their buckwheat honey and olive oil. The host, Mayala was kind, warm, and welcoming. It was delightful afternoon.
Great place
