Great little restaurant with inside or patio seating. Very attentive male server. The Salmon Crab Salad & carrot cake were excellent 👍
We ate there twice for supper. Food was outstanding, and the service was good. Highly recommend a visit to Duncan Mills and Cape Fear Cafe!
Server took our order , cooked our meal as he did for others as well . Everything was on time and was incredible.. Talented individual to say the least
Just love their home cooked and hearty meals 💜
Food was good for the most part. Owner/waiter brought burned home potatoes and claimed it was the way they made them. However he brought us another batch and the potatoes were great!
The food was delicious. The server was forgetful, but friendly.
Homemade hollandaise sauce on multiple eggs Benedict options. Staff was friendly and food was good. Great place to stop for a casual meal on the way to the coast.
breakfast was pretty good... most items were cooked to order. service was a bit slow, considering we were the only people in there for the first 30 minutes. just a btw, eggs Benedict is only offered on weekends.

One of the only restaurants in the small rustic outpost of Duncan’s Mills. Food was very good, we sat outside on the patio. Staff very friendly and accommodating. The salmon omelette and French toast were very good. We actually ate twice during our four days in the area. It’s a quaint and rustic area with a dozen shops for to you to explore. Worth the stop.
Kid-friendliness: Kids menu. Dog friendly outside on patio.

So it's a beautiful restaurant in a beautiful town that is totally worth the visit. Queer friendly too. I was with some very particular chefs and they said that the eggs benedict seemed handmade when its so often prepackaged.
Unfortunately I did have a negative experience with my server. I had a larger breakfast so I wasn't ready to eat lunch here. The server joked, "watching your figure?". A bit risky of a joke but I smiled. He continued with "I guess it's a little late for that." I'm a man and I'm far from in bad shape, so maybe he felt comfortable. I'm a confident person so I'm not going to take it to heart but as someone in the industry you have to be more careful. You don't know what will hurt someone's feelings.

The food was delicious! The sea devil hot pot had so much sea food- see photo. It was spectacular. We also had the steak and the clam chowder. Both were great. The waitress was sweet and attentive. I highly recommend coming here. We will be back for sure.
