OMFG! The baked goods here are unreal! I usually go for sweets,my wife for savory and have not been disappointed yet. Loooong waits on the weekend, but worth it. My drink choice is the Rocket Dog,large dark roast with a shot.good for moving around after eating a pastry. A regular stop. Still awesome!

Coffee and fresh pastries are the best from Guerneville too Jenner. It's the best reason to visit Duncan's Mills.

Always a great stop in a tiny town. The back patio gets plenty of sun and their are usually cute dogs :) They now serve pizza by the slice!

Best sticky bun ever. Ham and cheese croissant with mustard is my favorite too. Love that I can order an extra spicy Chai. Beautiful patio with black birds and hummingbirds. Staff are super nice. We went almost every morning while staying on the river.

An off the beaten path rustic bakery that's worth stopping by for their amazing galettes and pizza by the slice.

There are some bakeries you go to for refined pastries, others you go to for just good quality ingredients and hearty butteriness. Gold Coast is definitely the latter. The veggie galettes have a delicious Herby, buttery dough, nice and soft and chewy and filled with bell peppers onions mushrooms and whatever other magic local ingredients they have for the day.

The fruit galettes are equally as amazing. This time ours was a seasonal pear and blueberry. One bite makes you say DAMN that's an intense pear which really is hard to find.

Pesto pizza slice is also always a fan favorite. Theirs are the thin style on the bottom but with a full bread crust. Delicious fresh pesto though the artichoke hearts may not necessarily be fresh.

Only negative is the coffee. If you like old school folger style roast of coffee that's made super watered down ratio then it may be fine. But none of our group liked it.

Vegetarian options: The vegetarian pesto pizza and veggie galettes are amazing

Legitimately the worst cappuccino I've ever had. Everything else seems great though!

I used to like this bakery. Their scones and croissants were good. The croissants that I got today have hardly any butter. They are cutting corners in everything but the price.

This is an amazing find in this area. Pastries were phenomenal and the back patio is gorgeous. We tried the strawberry pinwheel, chocolate croissant, turkey pesto, cinnamon bun, and the peachy thing. Phenomenal.

coffee is excellent. the pastry is beyond delicious. the attitude? over the top! look out for the overly tanned, leathery hippie. she gave us the stink eye as soon as we walked in. maybe it was my smile or my non-white husband? maybe she needed the money since she asked for a fiver for the $3 bottle of water? we'll never know...
