Good,soft, Chile verde
So glad we skipped the chains and went around the corner. Everything tasted freshly home made. The chili verde was spicy and flavorful. The quesabirrias tacos were crispy and accompanied by a consommé of birria broth that was amazing.

Don't let the unassuming appearance and location in front of a run down motel fool you, this place is amazing. Family owned and run, home made everything including tortillas and salsa, felt like I was back in Mexico. Large portions.

on our way west from the airport, we dined out front on the patio table. extremely quiet and calm. food came out super quickly! best thing we ordered was the fish tacos— came perfectly fried and flaky with cabbage, deep juicy red diced tomato and a slightly spicy smoky crema all on a homemade tortilla. horchata was generous portion (we could’ve shared one!). quesabirria was also great! we will definitely be back if we’re in the area

This place is hella good. We were driving through from the Bay Area and do not regret stopping! The food is fresh and made from scratch and the service is perfect! The sopes were so crispy and light and the super burrito was so big! The prices are good but the food is even better!

Visited here while road tripping and charging our Tesla down the road. Hands down one of the best taquerias we’ve ever been to. My husband said it’s the best steak burrito he’s ever had (and he’s had MANY!) 10/10 would recommend to anyone!!!

As we drove home my family and I did a quick google search for food, as we found this tiny restaurant with a perfect yelp score we had to try it.
The food was served on traditional clay plates, everything was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend

Who ever stops in Dunnigan? Now we do, after finding this extraordinary restaurant. From the charming interior, all plants, serapes, butter yellow walls, retablos with the Virgin to the outstanding food, it is the closest to Mexico I’ve been in a while. Even a single., simple taco comes in its own scoopy dish with garnish and a truly delicious filling. Mmmm. This is a must stop in place.

This is a great find. All the other options are fast food but this family run taqueria has fantastic food and a great vibe. We had fish and chicken tacos.

Food is 10/10. If you like botany, you will ALSO be super happy with all the beautiful plants inside and out of the building. Only one (friendly) gal running the front which is less than ideal, but that's common for what seems like a family-run spot. If I lived closer I would come here weekly.
