We visit Dunsmuir frequently. It’s such a quaint town…yet it has so few vegan options. Mt Shasta is a quick drive away with so many places offering vegan choices that we usually end up there. However, this weekend we found Cornerstone Cafe and were quite pleased to see vegan options in Dunsmuir! Yay!! We enjoyed the tofu scramble which was loaded with veggies, avocado on top and a delicious salsa. It came with country-style potatoes and bread. All that for only $15! It was delicious and filling! Definitely check it out if you’re in Dunsmuir for breakfast or lunch. Staff was super friendly as well. And they have outside seating so our dog could join us!

In a place where we struggled to find vegan options (and open restaurants), this was a nice reprieve. It was all locals inside and everyone was super friendly, especially the staff. They had a couple vegan options on the menu, a tofu scramble prepared different ways. It could use a bit more flavor, but this restaurant just opened and they are still getting their legs. I was happy to have somewhere for a nice breakfast and a great start to the morning!

Perfect place to get some killer grub and watch the world go by... EVERYTHING in here is yummy and delicious... The staff are always kind and get it right ... If you are passing thru or are a local... You will never go wrong coming here!!!

Good food and coffee, a little pricey. Recommend not charging $2 for an extra side of salsa for the burrito. Doesn’t feel good for the customer.

They only offer eggs 3 ways, medium, hard or scrambled but I asked for wet scrambled and they accommodated beautifully. Kind accommodating waitstaff. Simple delicious food. Thank you, I’ll be back

We found the Cornerstone Cafe by happy accident. The Zephyr French Toast is AMAZING. Brandy Carmel Peach syrup served over Ciabatta French Toast with Pineapple…. gobsmackingly wonderful. You owe it to yourself to stop in. Your tastebuds will thank you.
