“Stopped by to get coffee. The decoration of this store surprised me, and I really like it. My favorite is the board game corner. They have a big collection of board games for rent and arcade games. This is already a great hangout place for me. I ordered cafe mocha, and carne asada fries. The coffee smelled amazing, and I love the chocolate flavor. The meat in the fried was well seasoned, and the fries was very crispy! I finished it within 5 minutes even if I was not hungry! I will come back again for sure!”
“really great people, supports the community, great foodParking: street parking is optional, in the summer it gets competitive with tourists who want to walk to mossbrae falls”

“Perfect classic double cheese burger! Good meat to bun to veg ratio. No overpowering sauces or condiments. Hamburger patties seasoned to perfection and shaped just right.Everything is fresh and piping hot. Fries and sides all hit right. Support this small family business. Skip all the other burger places. You’ll find yourself wanting to come back here.”
“As of March 2023, La Perla has the best Mexican food in Mt Shasta City. The street tacos are simple, but on-point with handmade tortillas. The birria is tasty and enchiladas are hot and made with enchilada sauce from scratch (not a can).Parking: Only room for a handful of cars, but you can park down the street”
“This place is perhaps one of the most innovative businesses I have seen in a very long time. It is a treasure trove of healthy and delicious food options. I highly recommend going here if you want a fulfilling meal that you dont have to feel guilty about. Thank you Alua for all you do.”
“My husband ordered the Seared Ahi sandwich and said it was the best sandwich he has ever eaten! Was still talking about it the next day! I ordered a burger and it was very delicious as well. Will definitely be eating there again when we visit the area next time! Thank you!”
“This is my favorite restaurant in town. In Shasta there aren’t many food options, so I’m SO GLAD Crave is here for us!! I always get their veggie pupusas and veggie nachos! It’s 10x better than the nachos at any of the wanna be Mexican restaurants in town. Also, Lydia is the absolute best and I love that they have an outdoor sitting area!”
“When I was on vacation with my husband, we were trying to find a good coffee spot other than Starbucks. Looked this place and up and decided to try it. We’re so glad we did. The coffee here is excellent, not to mention the lady who ran it was very sweet. On top of that, the selling point for us is that it’s veteran-owned. If you’re looking for a place that sells great coffee while supporting a veteran owned business, this is the place for you. 20/10 highly recommend. Wonderful little coffee stand.”
“If you never had the chance to visit a North Beach Italian restaurant before SF was ruined by the tech bros, Mount Shasta has the answer. Gigi’s is a great little Italian restaurant with the original Italian-American style. Proud of their heritage- photos and great food to prove it. Fun spot. Well worth the morning. If you’re lucky, you might catch Gigi there. Hurry before he moves back to Italy!”
“Came here while on vacation in winter, sat at the bar and was pleasantly surprised. The menu was amazing, the server/bartender was great(I think I heard someone call him Chris?)Food was great. The side salad was beautiful and tasty. Adding beets makes a salad top notch! Had coors light on tap which is a bonus for us. TV’s playing sports and light music playing in the background. The scenery is beautiful. We will be back when we come back this way!”
“Wow, seems like a little known hole in the wall. But it should be a popular place. The panini was amazing! The Castle Lake panini, oh.my.god. so good! And the house merlot was dang good. Get thyself to the Whiskey Row Taphouse!! Sorry the picture is only like 1/4 th of the panini, because I was enjoying it too much to take a picture!”
“Came here for brunch and had the best experience. Our waiter (and the manager of the place), Donny, was excellent. Took us a moment to remember him (my husband had a college class with him, and he served us at another restaurant for my 21st birthday). Still the sweetest man ever. Definitely will be back to eat there next year ❤️.”
“Absolutely is my favorite pizza on the mountain...and I have to add that another Angel in the Center field of Mount Shasta that allows so many folk to enter the front door in reprieve or safety... absolutely filled with Live and Respect..thank you thank you thank you... Katherine Goldenne”
“Super duper excruciatingly slow service but great food. Glad for an entire vegan menu ! Got the green curry with tofu and veggies - comes with jasmine rice. Well flavored, they seem to use a basil paste vs traditional green curry paste with shrimp etc. No complaints, we did want it vegan. Nice portion and came piping hot.”
“The Organic Guatamala is my favorite! creamy, smooth, vibrant, and low acidity, this roast is the perfect start to a cold winter day. I live in Portland, OR and have not found one roaster that compares to Northbound Coffee Roasters! Highly recommend.”

“Nice and quiet atmosphere in the off season. Great service, and the best golden milk I've ever had. Not sure that's the best name for it, but it's good stuffDietary restrictions: Oat almond and soy substitutes”
“This place is amazing! I ate here every night while I stayed at the Inn. I can’t even wrap my head around how amazing the food is. My background is in cuisine. So, I can confidently say that Sarah is a genius. Duck ragú, Peruvian chicken, braised ribs, braised lamb shank, Caesar salad….wow. I wanted to try everything on the menu. I still do. The staff is amazing. Kim ran the dinning area and bar beautifully. Thank you! See you all again soon.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible”
“Menu changes slightly! But the food was decent. Not sure if they specialize in their sausages before their tacos and burritos, but the food was just pretty good. The service was very kind and the people were amazing. It is only outdoor seating and cash only. It's in Mt Shasta City so everyone was so kind.”
“Comfortable, easy-going neighborhood establishment with friendly owner. We enjoyed our time at Cobra Lily Bar (great name :) Good wine, great service, nice snack plate, good value. Look forward to returning.”
