“Stopped in for a harvest host overnight in our RV and had an excellent evening. Briana the bartender was friendly and attentive, their brewmaster, Marco was informative and friendly. We chatted about the future of beers and the interesting work they are putting into their new releases. The food was good and the view was excellent! Definitely worth stopping in!”
“Came here while on vacation and the owners are amazing. Super friendly and They told us about the old dairy and about the area. We were happily surprised that coors light was on the tap list! I know. I know. We are at a brewery, but sometimes you need something lighter and they get that! The jalapeño beer is top notch!!I had the pulled pork sliders and had them add jalapeños and they were amazing! Came with 4! Who does that?! Hubby had the fancy named Reuben and he loved it as well. Parking lot is huge, bathrooms are huge and clean and have cute decor! You can see they love what they do and it shines through in the food, drink and atmosphere. I would definitely come back when in the area!!!”
“Orgasmic!!!!! The beef ribs were DIVINE. Just slightly less were the pork ribs! The sweet-spicy sauce complements everything! Go! You won't be disappointed, but expect to wait which only heightens the experience.”
“It's a simple place inside but the food is beyond amazing. The pho is so fresh and good I just want to cry. They do not pre-make the food it is all made when you order it. You just can't get that fresh and good anywhere in this county.”
“Most definitely delicious ?Kid-friendliness: They will love the view the open space the best food in a 500 mile radius. Enjoy one little piece of heaven ?❤️? thank you to all that made this happen. Blessings. ?”
“Great customer service the coffee was great. They offered lots of sugar, free options that are always hard to find for me very affordable. The coffee was very good. They were super friendly. Will definitely go there again. Yummy”
“Cedar Lanes to the rescue. If the Mt. Shasta crowds are too much, take the short drive north to Weed and Cedar Lanes. Get some good food and maybe bowl a game or two.”
“Rustic coffee shop with baked treats. We had a tuxedo mocha (our server had to ask someone else what that was, though tuxedo hot chocolate was the posted special). I should have asked for "half-sweet" as it turned out to be very thick. The fresh bearclaw we bought didn't seem very fresh. Meanwhile, the day-old chocolate muffin was tasty, moist, and rich despite literally falling apart in our hands. A very messy deliciousness.Clean bathroom available. ??”
“NOT your regular subway at all! The gals were outgoing, talkative and had me laughing the whole time I was in line and afterward. What a great experience , will definitely be back again, thanks y’all!”
“Stopped by for lunch on a Tuesday.Walked in and felt very welcomed.Ordered a crispy chicken ceasar salad and burger (forgot which special one) with onion rings. Both were good. Also, had delicious refreshing real strawberry lemonade.Quick and friendly service.”
“I went there Saturday to order a vday frappe and Malachai made it perfect after it had been messed up so many times before. Thanks Malachai for listening to our orders and a job well done.”
“Clean bathrooms at this Pilot, cleaner than most other locations. Had a good variety of snacks, including a Cinnabon. Store is kinda odd to get in and out of, only reason I can't give it a full five-stars. Otherwise, this is a decent location, better than using the Weed rest area up I-5. Plus, it's Weed... they have plenty of Weed souvenirs.”
“Food is usually really good here, depends on who is working it seems? Service is difficult to say the least, unfortunate for the ones that really try (and shine)! Go in for best service, or make sure they see your face while you're waiting for food, always better quality that way (eeek, shouldn't have to watch my food for it to come out ok?).”
“This Subway is inside at Travel Center but it's not gas station food. Subway always rocks and their cookies are great. Some dude was totally high getting a sandwich before us. He said "yes" to every add on and "yes" to every doubling of every ingredient. He was so animated we couldn't help laughing. All said and done, it cost him $30!!! We were all shocked. The dude said, "I've never paid $30 for a sandwich before". The clerk had the best response ever. "You want a $30 sandwich, I'll make you a $30 sandwich. You want a reciept so you know what happened when you wake up." Epic. The travel center was cool also but not much local souvenir stuff.”
“Hands down the best McDonald's I've ever eaten. The food was so hot and fresh and well made, it almost didn't taste like McDonald's.Cleanest McDonald's bathroom I've ever been in also. The staff was really nice. :)”
“My last visit warrants this response. My food was done right and the time was short and quickHappy to say it w as the fastest and best experience there in a long long ”
“Couldn’t visit the roaster since the opening hours were very limited when I visit Shasta. But I got their freshly roasted beans from a local store and I’m really enjoying them! Hopefully I can visit here next time I’ll be in Shasta!”
“First time at Yaks, driving through town and decided to ski Mt Shasta, definitely worth the stop for anyone driving I5 through Shasta.Food, service, was all absolutely amazing, I most definitely will be back.Had both a burger, Jalapeno one, and a breakfast burrito the next day. It might have been one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had (Lassen Assassin).Beer was fresh with a great selection, and variety.”
“The Ranch is beautiful. The hosts are so courteous, nice, and welcoming. It was just an amazing experience and their attention to detail was incredible. The breakfast was top notch and the amenities are the best we’ve seen.”
“Amazing food I got the pipeline classic burger and it was absolutely incredible. The service was great and food was delivered quickly while still being amazing. The feel of the restaurant is also great!”
“As of March 2023, La Perla has the best Mexican food in Mt Shasta City. The street tacos are simple, but on-point with handmade tortillas. The birria is tasty and enchiladas are hot and made with enchilada sauce from scratch (not a can).Parking: Only room for a handful of cars, but you can park down the street”
“I go here regularly for my peppermint hot chocolate (much better than Starbucks across the street). The owner is always friendly and efficient, getting you in and out quickly. I'll always choose to go here <3”
“Always warm & friendly. Great healthy options to enjoy in-store or grab&go!Highly recommend:*Coffee Drinks, Smoothies and Kombucha (of course!)*Bagel Sandwiches*Soup of the Day & Chili*Acai bowls (it may not live up to some trendy place in the middle of a metropolis, but not bad for a little mountain town)... So happy to support this wonderful business!Vegetarian options: Tempeh and alternative proteins available.Dietary restrictions: They are thoughtful and address Gluten free, dairy-free and vegan options.Kid-friendliness: Popular option for toddlers & kids. They like it and it's healthy, too!”
“This is my favorite restaurant in town. In Shasta there aren’t many food options, so I’m SO GLAD Crave is here for us!! I always get their veggie pupusas and veggie nachos! It’s 10x better than the nachos at any of the wanna be Mexican restaurants in town. Also, Lydia is the absolute best and I love that they have an outdoor sitting area!”
“Always amazingly wonderful! I love this place. I believe the chef is part angel. Food is ALWAYS excellent, service AKWAYS wonderful. Everything is ALWAYS DELICIOUS!!!! Wonderful ambiance!!! One of my all time favorite stops in Mt. Shasta! I am thankful.”
“Came here while on vacation in winter, sat at the bar and was pleasantly surprised. The menu was amazing, the server/bartender was great(I think I heard someone call him Chris?)Food was great. The side salad was beautiful and tasty. Adding beets makes a salad top notch! Had coors light on tap which is a bonus for us. TV’s playing sports and light music playing in the background. The scenery is beautiful. We will be back when we come back this way!”
“Super duper excruciatingly slow service but great food. Glad for an entire vegan menu ! Got the green curry with tofu and veggies - comes with jasmine rice. Well flavored, they seem to use a basil paste vs traditional green curry paste with shrimp etc. No complaints, we did want it vegan. Nice portion and came piping hot.”
“This place fills up fast by 6 PM. Either call ahead for a large party reservation or be prepared for takeout. Though might as well call for takeout otherwise you wait over an hour for your meal.Delish pizza. Love the Tropic Thunder BBQ, pineapple, sausage, pepperoni combo! Just call ahead.Kid-friendliness: Small arcade in the back.”
“Wow, seems like a little known hole in the wall. But it should be a popular place. The panini was amazing! The Castle Lake panini, oh.my.god. so good! And the house merlot was dang good. Get thyself to the Whiskey Row Taphouse!! Sorry the picture is only like 1/4 th of the panini, because I was enjoying it too much to take a picture!”
“I don’t often leave reviews. FANTASTIC wild game processing. My son’s buck came back today and I ate some of the jalapeño cheddar sticks... Amazing. Worth every cent”
