I loved the different spices put into the potatoes especially. seasoned meats and fresh ingredients.
On my visit today I witnessed the staff urge every patron NOT to wait around for a table. It was uncomfortable watching guests enter the door then be shouted at from across the room “we can’t seat you now we are too busy!”. In times like these it is a blessing to have a business that has customer interest like I witnessed today, and a shame to see out of town visitors get such a bad taste in their mouth for this charming town because a stressed out waitress can’t take...read full review
We were unfortunate enough to be sat right by the front door, where we witnessed the wait staff rudely greeting each customer, telling them they were way too busy and referring them to another restaurant across town. Traci's White Mountain Café is a cozy little place in the back of a hotel, described as a welcoming, like home little place with a vintage cozy atmosphere and views of the volcano from some of the booths. The food is delicious with large portions; the cheeseburger, grilled cheese, chili, hashbrowns, cheese omelette, and hot coca are all mentioned as very tasty. The service couldn't be better, with staff and owners described as quite friendly and the owner/chef as a sweetheart. The restaurant is extremely clean and immaculate, with a lot of attention to detail. For a birthday, they brought out hot coca with a candle and sang happy birthday, sending guests home with cupcakes. They are fast, efficient, and convenient for breakfast or lunch, highly recommended while visiting McCloud.
