We had an unfortunate and uncomfortable experience at this establishment, and perhaps it wasn't about the restaurant running out of eggs, because it happens, right... Or the lack of healthy and vegetarian options. No, it was the unusual unwelcoming atmosphere and vibes we received. So, we paid for our coffee (which the waitress pocketed) and walked a few doors down to a hidden coffee shop that had plenty of eggs for our breakfast and made us delicious coffee. We would advise non-whites to avoid this place and I'm sure the WHITE Mountain Cafe would appreciate it. Cheers!

The service was slow. The check came and was fine, but when it was charged it was 6 $$ more. When I asked about it the cashier, was upset. Slammed the calculator on the counter and refunded me. Hey, it wasn't my mistake, why are you getting mad at me? Just apologize and fix it!

New owners - absolutely horrible food. Eggs were fried in old greese n came out brown. Hash browns were so burnt n greasy then the biscuits were hard as rock. Just discusting. Several ppl walked out leaving there food. Waitress was nice and apologized but as far as the new owners/ cook. Good luck! We won't be

Breakfast is amazing at White Mountain Cafe. Simple made from scratch perfection. Biscuits and Gravy from scratch, great service and wonderful atmosphere. I would highly recommend an early morning hike Lower, middle, and upper McCloud Falls to work up an appetite!.
Good food, although they ran out of their homemade sausage which was disappointing. Tried the huevos Ranchero. Pretty tasty, although the middle part (beans) could've been warmer.

Came for breakfast on Sunday Sept 10. Even though Yelp and the sign in the door said "8am - 2pm" Sunday the place was closed. No notice, no apology. Two ladies who were loading a car said they knew it was closed.

My hamburger was DELICIOUS! It was a handmade patty, which impressed me. It had great seasoning. My husband's Cuban looked delicious as well. There were too many fries to eat. The server was very friendly and refilled my husband's soda without being asked. My husband loves that. The decor was so quaint, and it felt like we had been transported into another era. Overall great experience.
