I highly recommend visiting the Bee Kind Bakery. There was a large selection of delicious pastries. I bought a cinnamon muffin, carrot cake, cherry and berry turnover and ham and pepper jack horn. Each were delicious. It was hard to pick which one I liked the best. The carrot cake and muffin were packed with flavor and moist. The turnover and horn were buttery and flaky.

Stopped by for a late breakfast, wanted to support the locals. So pleasant, had the sausage and pepper jack croissant. Rich and flavorful, plain brewed coffee was excellent. Just an all around pleasant experience.

Bee Kind Bakery & Catering is a pleasant, cute place with nice folks that make customers feel welcome. It is a perfect location for events, like a 50th DHS class reunion, with terrific food, grand drinks, and top notch service. The sausage and pepper jack croissant is rich and flavorful, and the plain brewed coffee is excellent. The Lavender and English Toffee Iced Lattes were perfect, and the mini chocolate Croissants were small but excellent and quite filling. The pastries are superb, hands down the best in Siskiyou county, and most likely the best along I-5 between Sacramento and Ashland. The vibe and decor are everything a small town cafe/bakery should be. There is a beautiful outdoor garden and open area in the back with chalk, a kids water toy, corn hole set up, a stage, and seats throughout. The kid friendly outdoor space is appreciated. The whole atmosphere with the yummy food is a gem so close to Mt. Shasta, and there is nothing like it in Shasta, so it is worth the quick drive.
