The restaurant was cold, food was average at best, kinda pricey and they only had 2 of their own beers on tap. This is a brewery. The waitress was very friendly so I gave them a 2nd star for that.
Chef let me watch Monday Night Football on his phone while making me a great BLT!
It’s 2024. And every person I’ve ever talked to wants fries with their burger not mass produced potato chips or half decent salad or potato salad. Went there today and there wasn’t a soul in there, but I drove by yaks and pipeline and they were packed out. Also, the burger was bland and needed seasoning or at least salt.
Excellent hamburger, good beer and friendly staff.
One of the most delicious nut burgers I've eaten!
Excellence
Overall went here twice, on a Friday and Saturday night.
Friday night - ate out the street so we just ordered drinks although food smelled good, made note to try again. Beer was good not great. Also tried the root beer which they brew on site, it was also good not great. Live music and dog friendly environment which was a plus. Also of note, they still were serving food after 8, which is when they said they closed, so kudos to them. Rating the first night 4/5 stars
Saturday night. Arrived around 7:45 and was able to grab the last open table outside. Ordered a Salmon BLT, which was excellent, with a side Caesar and another root beer. Had same waitress as previous night, but no real banter or discussion. The other waitress there was more lively and engaging with the other patrons. Never received the root beer, when I questioned it on the bill she asked if I wanted it in a to go cup. Also no refill on water, despite it being in the 80s still (over 100 during the day). Maybe waiter was having a bad day, They were still serving food at 8:45 when we left, so a plus for extended hours. Score for second visit 2/5.
Overall 3/5 for inconsistency. Pretty good food and hope to luck out on the service side
Visiting the nearby state park and stayed in a local campground. While here we stopped at this place on a Friday evening for a couple beers and they had live music, which was pretty good.
So, as we had another night in the area decided to stop here for dinner. The elk burger and salmon blt were quite good and came quickly. However, the service was quite lackluster.
Great beer, amazing food, friendly staff, and dog friendly ? They even brought a water bowl out for our dog. We love seeing the hops growing near our table when sitting outside. Lastly, the clam chowder on Friday nights is AMAZING! We will always stop here when traveling through or staying in the area.
Absolutely delicious burgers and chicken sandwich - immediately fixed my fiancé’s cranky hunger problem

Food is only OK and didn't have a few menu options including no fries.
Service was very slow, so come in only if you have plenty of time and are very patient.
First visit to Dunsmuir, decided to give this place a try. Spicy chicken sandwich was easily in the top 3 I’ve ever had. I travel frequently across the country for work and the chicken sandwich is my go to choice. This place rocked it! Friendly staff and speedy service! Recommend 10 out of 10 times!
Slow service with 80% restaurant full. Beers are heavy dark ales, not to my taste. Food is OK, your choice is from burgers and sandwiches, Caesar salad was good.
The muscles!! Sooo yummy?
Great food and beers
