There's no down side unless you get there too late and someone else is chewing on the last of the favorite goody that you wanted. I've been there many times and it's always good. Dunsmuir is graced with beautiful scenery and the best bakery around for miles and miles! Young, sweet married couple, Jen and Mark are the bakers and proprietors, and you can taste the love of what they do in every delicious bite. Their breads are exactly what you crave when you go into a truly high-end bakery; you know, the one you will wait in line around the corner to get in and buy anything. Yup, It’s that good. Yet... no line, great prices, and friendly smiles from genuine small-town, good folks. Ohhhh and their cinnamon rolls are to die for. Mmmm... and the seeded baguette...
We just saw this place after eating breakfast at the adjacent Wheelhouse (which was awesome too!). Although we were stuffed, we couldnt resist getting the huge cinnamon roll for the road. We loved the cream cheese frosting and the roll was perfect for sharing!

How could this happen in Dunsmuir, a place so unique so incredible! Pizza dough that was made for the Roman Gods. I cannot believe the pizza I can make at home because of the dough hook. I have been trying to make pizza dough like this to no avail for years but who cares now I will lie and say it’s mine. Haha! I’m not kidding, get in your car and speed down to dough hook, you will not be disappointed as we are so Lucky to have such a niche type establishment in Siskiyou county. I really love their turnovers too and amazing wheat bread but 20 stars in the pizza dough, you’ve never seen anything like it.

We came to stop by here for breakfast because we we're told it is to be the town's top bakery shop. Meet a guy working here from my hometown, small world. I had there a giant cinnamon roll, did not disappoint. Wasn't to sweet and definitely came flavorful of the cinnamon taste that is to be expected. Delicious!!! Would definitely come again to visit when we are around for another hiking adventure.
