“You know that place that is accessible but awesome? That is my conundrum replying to this ask for a review. It is straight forward and the biscuits and gravy should be ordered as a side no matter what else you order.Parking: Even when it is crowded you can find a spot. It is country ok. No one is in a hurry. If you are from downtown Sac or the Bay Area just take a few breaths and pretend like you see two of your family friends trucks parked out front before you walk in, and you owe one of them a favor. When I do that I walk in comfortable, happy and humble.“
“Art good coffee consistency flavor and density kindness professionalism community hub place to chill in the sun in the winter - with my doggo hooked up securely to the stable bike rack . I wish 1078 could put up summer awnings and a Casablanca style fan - lol“
“I love going here! The staff is very friendly, and the inside is a great place to study or play games with friends. The only issues were the sago in the Mango Sago did not taste too great, and the taro in the Ube Taro Slush could have been more flavorful. Definitely coming back here to try some other drinks I saw!“
“The best coffee shop in Chico. I always enjoy coming here and have been for several years now.- properly made, tasty espresso drinks- they roast their own beans- friendly, smiling staff (who look like they get along and enjoy working there)- great aesthetics, high ceilings, a variety of seating, which is good for socializing or more isolated studying spaces- good music! (underrated feature)- dog-friendly- fun variety of food, and beer on tap- easy parkingChico has several bad (not mediocre... bad) coffee shops, some of which don't check any of the above boxes, so I am glad Daycamp exists! I hope the owners can open up more locations.“
“I am really enjoying Has Beans . The staff is fantastic. The quality is great. Most of the customers are great, but I have to say a few men I've met there when I literally am not yet woken up with my dog need my coffee have like try to chat me up or flirted and it really bothers me because I found a new haven and now there's people I know who are there gave me the same crap they do at Farmers Market I don't want men to flirt with me in the morning please What's wrong with me I love the girls at Has Beans . I love the workers at Has Beans . I really don't even know how to stop the inappropriate attention I've gotten maybe they should know maybe they want to know but the specific person who really upset me I've decided I'm gonna go tell them if he does it again and he's regular. I'm gonna remove this review in a couple of days. I wouldn't mind some advice how to be in Chico KIDDING Coffee, without someone looking at your chest when you're wearing a tank top in 100° weather and you're over 60 I mean please for god sake.“
“Fantastic, super friendly service!I was surprised to find out they don't have drip coffee but, an extra shot of espresso in my carmelizer and all was well ?I highly recommend them over the other well known coffee establishment that will go un-named. Keep up the great work“
“I’ve been coming here for years, I’ve probably filled out at least 7 stamp cards. My favorite thing is a French roast with heavy cream. Their bagels and coffee cake are very good as well. I give 4 stars because the forks they give you are absolute garbage. The fork is made out of wood and gives anything you are eating a taste of wood and once I even got a splinter in my tongue. Yes it was very painful. I beg the owner please get plastic utensils…. Please!“
“The only place I will get donuts from in town and honestly anywhere. They're always amazing the front ladies are so sweet and my kids love coming here. The prices are spot on and I never regret anything I buy here. Kiddos love that they can watch the guys make the donuts. Have been to numerous donut places and there's nothing like the Donut Nook. Love it here“
“Love everyone here. Vibes 100% . Food is delicious and drinks are one of a kind. Tea is freshly brewed for each individual drink. Our favorites include Taro with Brownsugar Boba. Early Grey with Crystal boba. And the Brown Sugar Milk Tea. 10/10 glad they came to chico.“
“Totally love the Naked Lounge. Only issue, when I get a, "hot", coffee, it's served, "barely warm"! A pet peeve of mine. But, it's Chico's absolute best coffee shop!! I like to enjoy sipping my coffee, serving it barely warm sadly really messes up the coffee experience. I usually ask to have my hot coffee to be heated. If I forget the coffee cup takes on an attitude of they're too busy to care.“
“What an awesome little place! Went here for a brunch. Absolutely delicious sandwich. I got the smokin’ berry bird. A little sweet and a tiny bit spicy, and totally delicious. Chico chai is also a great choice for an iced beverage!Sat outside in the walled in patio.“
“Best 20oz Americano. They also have great breakfast burritos that have unfortunately become smaller and more expensive since Covid but that is not Mr & Mrs Cal Javas doing. They are just having to keep up with all the dollars in circulation, bringing down the value of the US$. Maybe if we quit printing money like the Joker runs the Federal Reserve I can get my veggie burrito huge again. Thank you Cal Java for employing nice people and for keeping it excellent even though your rent must be going up and the Joker is in charge of the money supply.Vegetarian options: I get the vegetarian breakfast burrito and it is almost always the best breakfast burrito in town.“
“Very cozy shop with delicious bagels and coffee! Environment is relaxing and workers seem comfortable here :)Dietary restrictions: Milk alternatives available (soy, almond, oat)Wheelchair accessibility: Spacious enough to move through without issue, even though the shop is on the smaller end.“
“I always love going to Dutch Bros especially towards the autumn months, the employees are always nice, and more times than not, I leave satisfied. The only thing I have issues with is the mobile app, but usually they look me up by # so I can still earn points towards a yummy reward!“
“This place makes me think back to when I was a kid and I was going with my dad to go get a small hot chocolate. They would always give it to me for free. They are just down to earth people, everyone working here. They have respect for the customers and they know how to keep a busy line of cars rolling through their spot!“
“A terrific coffee bar. Wi-Fi and rental meeting rooms. Just a great concept for this type of business. More than a coffee shop, it is a great place to have meetings for businesses and large get togethers. Fee involved for the rooms but it has terrific coffee and pastries as well.“
“This place is very expensive and snobby. If you are trying to get morning coffee before work or a place to study this is not the place.Parking: Worse location ever for parking and exit is alley with no safe view to 1st. Try alley the other direction or maybe on to Mangrove through neighbors lot“

“Cal Java has delicious coffee – I like the Vanilla Nut (or a special espresso drink) if I’m getting a cup to go, and my favorites are the Brooke Trout and Decaf Moka Java if I’m buying beans to take home. Naturally, coffee comes first. But I really wanted to give a shout out to Cal Java for how active they are active in the community. They have generously provided coffee for a number of events at my children’s elementary school, and they’ve partnered with the school on a long-term coffee-sales fundraiser. The employees in the East Avenue shop are always friendly, and Luke (the owner) is often about, greeting the regulars by name. They have a few well-curated items for sale from local businesses/artists. I love being able to support a local business that supports the community in turn.”“
“I ordered 3 of the coffee travelers for a program my husband was in to bring him and his classmates coffee since they were in the rain all day and the team there was outstanding! They got it done in a quick amount of time due to the last minute notice and they went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I need.“
“I am so grateful for everyone, especially their manager at this Starbucks location. Coffee and service was great of course, but they found my purse that l left in the bathroom, kept it in a safe. Their manager mailed it to me out of his crazily busy schedule. I am so grateful for him and everybody! Thank you so much!“
“My son loved his vegetables burger. ?. He gave 5/5 rating. ?. Other son ordered spicy black bean burger but he said it was not spicy so he had to add sauce but he said he loved the sauce he gives a 3.5/5. To me it was a success because he rarely actually finishes restaurant food. My wife took a white chocolate coffee. She liked it but said it did not have enough chocolate flavor. She gives 3.5/5. I ordered a lentil soup and Salad and it was fair. I give it a 3.5/5. I will come back here for their flavorful and healthy recipe. After food you don’t need a nap but feels good and energetic.“
“Me and a buddy met at twisted cafe to chat on a Friday evening around 5:30. The Mocha was insanely delicious but the hours say open until 7:30 they closed at 6:15-6:20 and though we weren't done with our drinks or chatting they kicked us out. Please change your hours so people don't have to get there order and leave! We hung out in front after they closed and 2 people came by and asked us if they were closed and that was at 7:00pm that could have been 2 more potential customers! Otherwise again mocha was awesome and staff was very nice just sucks when you see "closed at 7:30pm" then you have to leave at 6:20!“
“I really love this place. Fresh healthy food. When you walk in, you order from the posted menu. The menu is easy to read and understand. Bowls or Wraps, and lots of drink choices. I had salmon over brown rice with greens with the honey mustard dressing. It was my first time, and I wasn't that adventurous. It was really good. I tasted others , they were also delicious. There is seating inside along with a large outdoor seating area.“
“Nice little local breakfast/brunch/lunch joint. Everything I've tried has been good - food and beverage-wise. Cool place!Vegetarian options: Had veggie and vegan options for some of the breakfast items.Dietary restrictions: Veggie, vegan and gluten free options available. Also had different milks for drinks available.“
“My daughter's birthday was this month so we went to the Dutch Bros. on Skyway to get her free drink. She wanted a Fire Lizard, no caffeine, and the gal at the window said Happy Birthday and put 3 lollipops on the side! My daughter was so excited about her drink Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly menu.“
“Got my son a birthday cake frost, and it had the sprinkles on top, I think that they go with it so cool. But I loved that they used to put sprinkles on every drink cup when it's for a person's birthday and wrote "happy Birthday " on it. Wish they still did that. It was just that simple special thing. But other than that, thank you guys for your delicious drinks!“
“Located right next door to the Quest blood test place, it's super convenient if you had blood drawn in the morning after one of those fasting things you gotta do, you can just stop in here next door and get a shot of wake me up! They have little snackie food stuffs too if you need.If I'm headed south outta town, this is one of my usual locations to get a cup of caffeine for the road. Cause the 5 is one boring road! I usually always go into the store as it seems like less wait time. Or I can also use the free WiFi and check some emails or anything else. The music is not too loud inside, so that's a good thing.Another good coffee stop in our little town of Red Bluff.“
“Great for breakfast, coffee, and snacks. The breakfast burritos are phenomenal! The baked goods are fresh and homemade. The customer service is outstanding. This is a place where they know your name. They always bring a smile to my face. A perfect way to start the day!“
