Monte Vista Inn had such a homey atmosphere when you step inside. The hostess and wait staff were super welcoming and accommodating. I had the Philly Cheese steak sandwich and sweet potato fries with FRESH- made lemonade, which truly hit the spot. Very tasty. Convenient location right near the interstate. Stop in!!
I absolutely adore this place. Fresh food, that reminds me of Grandmas Cooking with Flare! We got the Calamari appetizer which arrived promptly, & was warm & cooked to perfection with dipping sauce that was eye rolling in the back of your head good. I LOVE their Shrimp Scampi, but tonight I had the Ribeye with Onions & Garlic.. my mouth instantly watered, absolutely delicious! My husband had the Chicken Pasta & fries on the side, he was in heaven. I love this...
Stuck in 80 traffic for 8+ hours trying to get to tahoe so we decided to take a break and grab some food! Place was awesome! Definitely going to be part of our routine when we head to Lake Tahoe next.
