Visiting from out of town. Walked in to order the famous Torta Cubana in size: grande. They have fast service from my experience. The Torta was much bigger than I had anticipated, and it was stacked. I recommend regular size if you dont have a big appetite. The torta is really tasty. Authentic taste, like a real mexican torta. Salsa was on point as well.

Had the the birria tacos and consome, it was awesome! All i needed was a little heat. I wasn't given any salsa to put on top ?

This place should have a higher rating. It is a true gem in Compton. You walk inside this hole in the wall and you see posters of classic rock figures such as Kiss, Mana, the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, The doors and even the popular El Chavo Del Ocho. The service is excellent, the duo there work at a fast pace during the busy lunch hour to get your order ready. I got the torta Cubana which was loaded with milanesa, cheese, weenie, egg, onion, chorizo, ham, lettuce, tomato, in between a big bolio sourced from a local bakery. You this sandwich is massive and you need a partner to help you finish it. I also got to try the California burrito which is loaded with guac, carne asada, French fries, cheese, pico de Gallo, and crema. This place is worth checking out. Specially if you have a big appetite.

Torta was HUGE!! Lots of meat. For a good size appetite 1/2 of the Giant is big enough. Not much veggies but that's all good. Great value in the Price of the Giant Torta. Even their "Regular" size looked big and priced very well. Wasn't the cleanest place but it was all good with the Torta

Our family of 5 ordered breakfast here and was totally disappointed. We ordered 5 turkey croissant sandwich combos. The picture of the sandwich that the restaurant displays on door dash is completely FRAUD. The restaurant name is actually Alexander's Hub Burritos. A total waste of money, completely ruined our breakfast. I only gave it a star because I don't have the option to give NEGATIVE stars. The owner should be ashamed of robbing people out of their money like this. Thanks for nothing

Lizzo, Jack Black, early 2000s Adele, and Alexander's Hub Burritos - what do they all have in common? Delicious tortas. I ordered the Torta Cubana with a Horchata, and let me tell you... I know Castro wouldn't let a beauty like that go. It comes with Weiney, homemade chorizo, pork (piernita), breaded steak (milanesa), head chese (queso de puerco), ham, american cheese, 2 scrambled eggs, and mozzarella cheese. So, much pork in this bad boy, all it was missing was an LAPD officer. I ordered the regular size instead of their giant size, and it was still very large. The horchata was definitely not it, however. It was very watery and didn't even taste like horchata. But, the torta definitely makes up for that. Def would recommend this spot. This is Delores Delano, signing out. Until next time.

Love this place. I'm here at like once every other week. The food is amazing. Good portion sizes, and the variety cannot be beaten. California burritos and Hub burritos are so good. The tortas are huge! All the food is fresh and housemade. It's an amazingly well put together menu, as there is seafood, Mexican meats, and sauces really well paired together. The place is the right size. Plenty of space to comfortably eat inside. I easily bring 2-3 people pretty often and there is never complaints about being able to find a place to sit. Occasionally they put on shows and that's such a great time. They really build up the community by giving a place for bands to play. It's a smaller venue but the experience is unmatched. Alexander's is part of the Compton experience. If there's a place to show somebody, it's here. Proper Mexican food with amazing owners.
