This was the best lamb chop I've ever had. The rice was also good, and the salad was very fresh, making it a very satisfying just meal.

Restaurant is super cute, photo op friendly. Food is good. Nothing out of the ordinary. Not greasy, nor salty. Clean. I had a Falafel platter, not bad at all. My sister had a Chicken kabob wrap. She liked it. Hummus was thick and not watered down! So that was a big plus. The hummus portions that came with our food were small though. And they have fat crinkle fries! So good! Shout out to the cooks and staff cleaning up the tables. Vegetarian friendly. Only vegan things on the menu that I noticed were the plain fries and the greek salad (minus the feta) We spend a little over $50 for two people. Parking was easy for me because when we arrived, there was a street parking that was opened and the restaurant was kind of empty. Not sure if there is more parking available 🤷🏽‍♀️ Seating is limited so it’s good for smaller groups. Children friendly. And a definitely a nice date spot. I would come here again, if I was around the area and craving Mediterranean/Persian food.

This place is ridiculous I called in my order at 2:53 pm they said it would be ready in 10min, I called in my order cause I have 30min lunch break and im aware they take long at times. I arrived at 3:03 to pay for my food at 3:24 I got up and ask how much longer they lady behind the counter said a couple more minutes I explain that they said 10min that I was on a time crunch I took her response as mocking me this was uncalled for and no one was even there like other times. To top it off the food was terrible chicken under cook and the lamb chops were still pink worst $29 I've spent in my life i will never come back to this place. They have gone down hill!!

The food is great (freshly cooked and tasty), portions are good and the seating outside is well done.

Great vibe great food. Staff is attentive and accommodating. I spoke with the staff and they a mixed bunch of Mexican, Persian, and more. I feel this diverse group and there on touches to the food. Giving the chance to be all it can be.

After reading the stellar reviews I decided to get the Sofreh feast for 8 people for $140.

So, what did I get?

A cold soggy bag of 6 pita. Not 8 pita (feast for 8, remember?). 6.

About 1/2 pint of not terrible hummus - Not enough for 8 people.

A really very good salad.

A rice dish that appeared to have been stirred up from leftovers and microwaved.

Tough beef that appeared to be microwaved.

Dry, tasteless chicken that was DEFINITELY microwaved.

Some unidentifiable Lula that was probably microwaved.

Some decent roasted tomatoes with roasted jalapenos. Never saw jalapenos at a Persian restaurant before. This was the only thing that appeared to be cooked to order.

Who the heck are all the people that gave this place 5 stars? Who the heck decided this junk was Persian food?!

Food here is normally amazing but this time the chicken in my shawarma wrap was burned and blackened pretty badly. This was take out so I didn’t see it until after I got home. They shouldn’t have served this.

On my way back from skiing I had a craving for Koobideh and a Coke. My GPS lead me to East Los. Glad it did cause the food was good.

We stopped by this café while passing through, and wow, the food turned out to be unexpectedly delicious! The portions were generous, and the people working there were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this place!

I can't get to choose how my meat is done. The stupid logic from the cashier is they do not do it because people leave negative reviews about how they cook their food not well done and therefore, they stop accepting request and only make their meat well done. Ok, by this logic, people can also complain their food are cook too well done. This is not the right excuse to not allow customers to choose their preferences. They just got a negative review from me for doing this while they care about not getting negative review. I told her this logic and now she flip the script and said this is their store policy, take it or leave it.
Maybe their meat are not fresh and they use this as an excuse.
Lots of noise here and not the good kind, Right next to MTA track with train honking and creat lots of dust. Very difficult to find parking as well
