Had no clue they were still in business. I was a big fan of their old location. New smaller location but same great food. The owner is super nice. Their food is fresh and tasty. All though their food selection isn't as big as other places it's still very good. I recommend their chicken bowls. Something about the way they cook their chicken. Just perfect. Give them a try if in the area.

Best times to get Chinese food from the steam table is when the restaurant opens at 11:30am. Don't knock the quality! It isn't practical to constantly make new batches of food when there's no guarantee anyone will purchase it. And if you want Chinese food freshly made, order from the cook to order menu! House special fried rice and chow mein, wonton soup are available. Call ahead to lessen the wait time. Last but not least...Don't miss out on the Japanese teriyaki menu!! The Chicken bowl is the most popular but the Sumo special is the BEST! The Sumo is the crispy Chicken, Beef teriyaki with mushrooms and Stir fried Shrimp. The teriyaki sauce is house made and is an extra charge to get it to go but it's worth it! Let's keep this family owned business afloat! Support and order!

I used to go to this place way back when it was called "Tokyo Bowl" and it was located on Atlantic across from ELAC. I had been away from the area for quite awhile and was very happy to find it still in business but at a different location. I even recognize the same menu boards from the former location. I had driven several hours because of a craving for a certain item from long ago. Menu item #9. Combo chicken and beef. This is what they are known for and they don't make it in the typical way. This is the ONLY thing to order. Order anything else and you will risk substantial disappointment. The teriyaki beef is tender and has sliced mushrooms. It can be omitted if you aren't into that but they do really complement the beef. But it's the teriyaki chicken which is the star. The chicken cannot be found anywhere else. It has a crispness to it that only a Chinese roast pork skin will have. This is not a typical preparation for chicken so they have taken the extra step in making it unique. Have the teriyaki sauce on the side because you want to enjoy the crispy chicken as long as you can.

I've ordered the Sweet and Sour chicken and it's the worst dinner plate I've ever ordered. The chicken look like tuna and was tasteless. The pineapple tasted like it's been sitting in the buffet for one week. I never finished my plate thats how bad the food tasted. I'm never going to order from there again.

Everybody complaining about they're fast food Chinese . But I still love those place because they're known popularly for they're Number 1 & 2 On the top menu . Teriyaki chicken and grilled beef. They used to stay on Atlantic blvd next to East Los college before moving here. I never go there for they're noodles or anything you see In front of you. Always ask for number 1 or 2.

The meat is so little, I paid $10 just for a little meat. I ordered teriyaki chicken. It doesn’t taste like teriyaki chicken, food is not so good!

This place is nasty ! I wont be coming back thats for sure ...pork was tough and so were the noodles ! Was just harsh to swallow a bite of this plate period .!

I should have followed my instincts and not walk into this establishment, but i was starving. Tokyo Express(Japoneses city) Chinese food to go!!! The rice was old and hard along with the bbq pork. The orange chicken was more breading than chicken. The noodles are ok. Definitely will never come back to this restaurant
