About Vida Pura

Vida Pura is a Latina-owned, plant-based vegan cafe and coffee spot in East Los Angeles. It is a small, hole-in-the-wall location on Ford, next to LA Fama, with limited space inside and only benches for waiting. There is no dedicated parking lot, but parking is available across the street and on nearby streets.

The menu features delicious vegan food and drinks. Favorites include the breakfast burrito, noted for being filling and having beans, avocado, and double hash browns, and the matcha, especially the strawberry matcha. The coffee is good, with highlights being the Spanish Latte with vanilla cold foam and the banana nut latte, where the cold foam is a star. All coffee drinks use oat milk as standard. The sweets are also tasty. Service is fast and the staff is super friendly, kind, and provides good customer service. Be aware that the line can sometimes be very long, up to 25-30 minutes.
