When I was buying some medicine at the self checkout yesterday, the register wanted my ID checked to make sure I was over 18. And a short middle age woman with short bleached hair came to by pass this part and jokingly I said don’t you want to check my ID? (I’m in my 60s and in the past we laugh at this and go on)- but she just looked at me and said with a snotty attitude- oh yeah right!!!
I’m not coming back and spend my hard earned money at this store and be treated like this by someone who doesn’t like their job.
Sorry Albertsons! Not doing this anymore!!!

If you ask for slices of meat they offer you the first slice free to see if you want it thicker or thinner. Vons doesn't do that. Vons only has two people to help you. Albertsons has at least twice as many. Very popular on Friday's after work! A huge selection. Their rotisserie chicken is delicious.

I shopped today. It would be in-fair to rate the store at this time. The store was slammed, I mean SLAMMED! Due to the Covid19 scare. I did simple shopping and I was there for three hours!

Ugh! Always, always a long, unorganized and chaotic line with customers who will snatch up your next in line spot. It could be the El Cajon crowd, though lol. I once saw a man offer up his wife to fight another lady whom they accused if line cutting. I mean, damn...its just deli meats and cheeses people. No need to get Jerry Springer involved. P.s. I have never (maybe 1-2) had a friendly deli employee.

I did not visit the deli on my last visit to the store. But in the past I have never found anything to be wrong . I have had good experiences with those who work behind the deli the past. I have no complaints about anything with the store except the prices. I don't shop there as much because of it. But I do like the selection that other stores don't offer . Even the the deli is better at Albertsons but again too exspensive for me to justify shopping there regularly.
Don't go too early. Not set up for early risers, you can't find a sole to help with anything. I had to hunt someone down TWICE before someone actually showed up

They don't carry many alternative food choices here. No veganaise or tufutti cream cheese. Funny because the Albertson in Alpine does carry these. Alpine is much smaller then El Cajon.
