Food portions are CONSIDERABLY smaller than other Applebees. Overall comparable service and atmosphere.

Service ist friendly food is alright
Food is always good
The food was hot and good. We shared the full rack of ribs (a bit tough but great flavor), mashed potatoes, broccoli and the Spinach dip with chips. The price was very fair as we split a full rack of ribs.
PARKING IS AWFUL. Had to circle 3 times to find a spot.

Server was rude and didn't have the Burger deal I went for so I went to Chilly and it was Perfect
I'm only giving 4 stars because our waiter Erick. He was on top off his game. Kind, attentive, quick to help us all through our meal. It was my 1st Time going out after my stroke and operation. He didn't stare at my scar. He smiled every step of the way. Erick should get a raise. I never say that so....
On another note... the special Whole Lotta Bacon Burger does NOT have a lot of bacon. It has the same amount of bacon as the regular bacon burger. Joke was on us! They charge $3 more for some "bacon sauce" they put on the bun. That's it...about a tablespoon of nasty sauce. Ridiculous!
Service could have been better the food was alright. My review is so low becuase my kids water was carbonated and sour and it didn't feel kid freindly I wouldn't recommend this place texas roadhouse would have been better for the dinner service

Veteran's day, so it was pretty crowded for a Monday. We enjoy the food and the ability to play the trivia games on the little table kiosk. We both had the 6oz steak and they were cooked well. Had the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and the were hot and crispy. Even the marinara was hot. I'll never understand restaurants who are serving cold marinara for hot food...lol servers were working hard but were still friendly.

I Actually Only Came Here Because Roadhouse Was Packed As Usual And I Couldn't Sit @ The Bar. I Definitely Remember When This Was Actually My Favorite Place To Come After A Very Long Day @ Work. I Guess Those Day's Are Definitely Over. Yeah My Bartender Was Not Very Friendly. I Ordered A Steak, Mashed Potatoes, Broccoli And A Cesar Salad. Yup The Salad Was Nothing But Lettuce And 4 Stale Croutons. Oh Yeah Had To Ask For More Dressing. I Definitely Noticed My Steak Was Dry, My Mashed Potatoes And Broccoli Was Ok With Very Small Portions. I Definitely Had To Drown It In Steak Sauce. Yup The Beer Wasn't As Cold As I Like It. I Definitely Recommend The Road House For Steak's And The Coldest Tap Beers ?.

My mom and I have lunch together once a month. This month we chose Applebee's, it's been awhile since either one of us has been there. My mom arrived before me, and they took her to our table while she waited for me. (I say this because some places make you wait for your whole party before they see you.) It was around 1:30-2 ish in the afternoon, the restaurant was full, but there was no one waiting to be seated. Our waitress Tara B., I believe was her name. She was very sweet, quick, and attentive. We ordered the 2 for $32 deal. You get a side salad or an appetizer to share and a entree each. We got mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, they were hot, melty and yummy. My mom got the steak, I think the 6 oz, she was concerned about ordering it medium rare and having it come rare or ordering it well done and having it come back over cooked, so she asked Tara, our waitress, who let us know that she had a good cook today and it should be cooked the way she wants it at medium rare. When she got her steak it was cooked to perfection. I got the bourbon street chicken and shrimp. The chicken was moist and delicious. And we both added a side salad. The meal was awesome, Tara was awesome, the restaurant was clean, almost every TV was on the football game or some kind of sports which was good, my mom wanted to check the score, lol. We will definitely come here again and I will recommend Applebee's in El Cajon to anyone looking for a good restaurant.

Went asked if we could sit at a table, 1 waitress said it's OK no problem, 2nd waitress came & started talking shit for no reason. People it's a empty table what is the fn problem. Definitely really bad service including manager letting his employees work like that. Last time we go there
