Incredible caterer! Food for our son’s wedding was absolutely spot on and our guests were very impressed! Highly recommend

10 years ago Buckboard catered my sister’s wedding and they did such a great job we used them for mine! Absolutely incredible service at a very competitive price point. We used them for food, rentals, and bartending and it was so convenient to have them handle so many different aspects of our event. Starting with our initial consultation, Amber met all our needs, responding promptly to our questions and immediately putting us at ease whenever we were worried about an aspect of the event.

Day of staff were so helpful and kind. My wife was getting hungry before the event when we were taking pictures and their head chef put together a plate of snacks and made her a quick sandwich, even taking the care to cut it into easy bite size pieces. It was a small gesture that really meant a lot.

We got tons of compliments on our food. We had lots of vegans/vegetarians attending and they each got to pick what they’d like out of a wide selection of options. Most places we talked to had one option for everyone and our guests were shocked/thrilled to have the option to choose.

We used this incredible catering team for our wedding at the San Diego Botanic Garden a few weeks ago, and they were phenomenal from start to finish!

We went with the taco bar and their bartending services, and our guests could not stop talking about how amazing everything was. The taco bar was absolutely delicious — the meat was super fresh and high-quality, and all the toppings were spot-on. It added a fun and flavorful vibe to the night. We also did the churros for dessert and WOW — they were a huge hit! Warm, crispy, and absolutely amazing.

A very special shoutout to their catering manager, Amber. She is truly outstanding at what she does. Amber was incredibly professional, organized, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. She worked with our vision and our budget to help us pull off our dream wedding. She went above and beyond — offering the best recommendations and even connecting us with other high-quality vendors. On top of all that, she’s just an awesome person — the kind of person you instantly want to be friends with.

We are so grateful to this team for helping make our wedding unforgettable. If you want a top quality catering team, truly look no further.

Buckboard was such an amazing caterer for our wedding! Even from the first tasting, the catering manager Amber took great care of us. She made careful note of allergies and special requests. We are so incredibly happy with our decision to use Buckboard for our wedding! Amber was amazing at communicating with us (especially when we asked a million questions) and was willing to support us even when our budget changed. I cannot say enough amazing things about this team!! The buckboard catering team catered my wedding and they blew us all away!! Ashley was amazing with accommodating our budget, going through the options, hosting the tasting and holding my hand through the process. I had people coming up to me all night telling me how great the food was. They were with communication throughout the process and even with our guests all night. They personally spoke to each guest with allergies and informed them of the best options to accommodate them. They even went out of their way to buy a new salad dressing for a guest with allergies during the event and gave her her own personal bottle to keep at her table. My coordination team was going to take care of cake cutting and our nacho bar but the Buckboard team insisted on taking it off of their hands and took a huge load off of their plates. I got great feedback from everyone about the friendly bartenders and their flexibility with signature drinks and the other options!! Buckboard catered our wedding! We had a taco bar and we still have people telling us how good the food was! Very professional and responsive! Such a pleasure to work with them and we will be using Buckboard for our next event!!

They worked with our unique vision (we wanted something on the more casual side, so we got sliders!) and made it perfect for our event. When we were trying food, we happened to mention that we were still looking for rentals, and they let us know that they could take care of all of our rental needs. At the end of the day, we can’t say enough how happy we were with Buckboard’s work!

Buckboard recently hosted our launch reception for our new facility. The level of service and attentiveness blew us away - top notch! Delicious food, friendly and attentive service, great presentation, and every aspect on time. We will definitely hire them for any future events.

Highly recommend Buckboard Catering! We used them last week for a small event at a winery. Buckboard put together beautiful charcuterie boards for the event. Everyone enjoyed the meats, cheeses, fruit...it was an awesome spread. Customer service, prepping for the event, was great and prices were very reasonable. Give them a try!

The best BBQ in San Diego! Amazing food, huge portions, & great prices. The tri tip platter is huge & delicious!

Wow! Best BBQ in SD hands down. A must try. Ribs don’t need BBQ sauce however their sauces are amazing. The shhh puppies were next level. Bread is on point. This spot made this foodie very happy. ?
