Ordered birria tacos with no onions, tacos had onions on them and came with no consume. I’ve had problems with not getting the consume before, have even been charged for it. I asked about it once and they confirmed it comes on the side for free anytime you order birria. I like this spot and all their flavors, best green sauce around. But the service has been lacking recently unfortunately.

Came here 2 times now. First one was for lunch over a year ago. Grabbed a campechano burrito. I remember it being a pretty big burrito but the flavor was not good. I went there this morning craving a breakfast burrito and it was the only drive through in the area. Got the "bacon and eggs" breakfast burrito and it should be renamed to the French fry and cheese burrito. There was a little bacon at each end of the burrito and none in the middle. The egg was also almost none existent. Possibly 1 egg mixed throughout. Maybe the high cost of eggs right now has had something to do with it. Either way, the picture speaks for itself. Also, the French fry and cheese burrito ended up costing me just over $12. I gave them 1 star for the quick time through the drive-through and another star because I enjoyed the hot sauce. Always hard to find good hot sauce. After 2 visits and 2 bad burritos, I won't make the same mistake for a third time.

I was shocked by the prices but it gave it a shot anyway. I figured that if they are charging these prices then the food will be high quality. It was decent at best.
I realize prices are increasing for many ingredients but something seems off here. There are plenty of taco spots with lower prices around that have better quality.
I'd happily pay these prices if the quality of the food was mind blowing. Unfortunately, it's not. the salsas are watery and the burritos are packed with more rice than protein.

I went there on 12-27-2024, that was some of the worst Mexican food I've ever had. I ordered 2 burros and 2 drinks, paid about $33.00, super expensive, not worth it at all. Each burro was big enough for 2 people, I took a few bites, it was bland-flavorless, didnt bother to finish it. Save your money, go elsewhere, very disappointed.

Please look at DoorDash orders more carefully if someone orders double most likely they wanted double. Thank you Otter for only giving this pregnant woman ONE set of street tacos when I ordered TWO. I should have TEN tacos not FIVE! Reading carefully is fundamental.

Unacceptable service rude employee I ordered hash brown burritos and it took a little while to receive them. When I took my order home and was ready to eat, I discovered that it was Carne Asada, no hashbrowns whatsoever. When I went back to the establishment and notified them that my order was wrong, they said that they were just going to remake my order. I asked the cashier if there was anything else that they could do since it was such a hassle for me to go home and come back because it was their mistake. She said "we already lost the burritos we made you and there's nothing else that she could do." This is very rude and unacceptable, she said what she can do is give me my money back, but I won't get the food. EVEN WHEN THEY REMADE MY BURRITO, I WATCHED HER DROP MY BUTRITO ON THE COUNTER AND ALL THE DID WAS REWRAP IT! This is very DIGUSTING. I promise you I will never go back and I promise you I will tell all my friends and family every single person I know to never go to Burro and fries ever again!

BRC are like 7$ at all other Burros and Fries but El Cajon it's a 10$ burrito.... like that's a bit excessive if you ask me but whatever not going here again. And no receipt was giving of corse.

I love this place, and the service is great, but there is no need to eat in. Not that it's gross, it's Hella clean, just, my thought, take your food SD go make a mess elsewhere. Leave the staff be. If you need some random item...more ice, or napkins, etc. Ask your mother...
