small but good food. family owned. very friendly
We ended up at this place on our way back to Arizona. It very close out the I-8 exit in El Cajon! While here, the service was great and food came out so fast! That was the best part, we were tired and didn’t feel like having fast food and this place was DELICIOUS! The quesabirria was so juicy and cheesy with lots of meat, the shrimp quesadilla was delicious as well and GIANT! My picky 10 year loved his food. While speaking with the (I’m assuming) owner, he said he’s been there for around 25 years if I remember correctly! My husband had been there before, years ago and he still loved the food. Place got remodeled and is very clean. Parking lot is huge in that plaza so no trouble finding parking. Bathroom was clean and it’s only one bathroom for everyone. In conclusion, I can’t wait to go back because this place was so so good and great prices along with great service!
I’ve been here 2 times and only because I was at the laundry room next door. First time was enchilada combo plate and I got way more beans than rice. Second time a ‘giant’ breakfast burrito with beans, potato, cheese, egg and I paid extra for sausage and bacon. Again too many beans and sprinkles of meat, about 10 fries and maybe half an egg. Flavor ok, beans used way too much as filler. I expect more for the prices
Charge you 18 bucks for 3 quest Birria tacos . Cool standard for me getting one. I tried giving them a chance. but twice. They give me the most skimpy portions of meat compared to other place sive gotten quesa birrias in nicer neighborhoods than this one. They try and hide their bad portions in two layers of tortilla when u bite into one of their tacos it feels like a giant corn mess with a little meat inside. Ripoff. Skip this pla e you'll get beer bang for buck almost anywhere else
My first time there, the Carne Asada Burrito was huge and very good. Good salsa, quick service, and friendly, will definitely go back.
Cute little place . The cook was ready to go as soon as we placed order had it out in under 10 min. Went for the taco tuesday special.
But also got the sopes and they did not disappoint. Images shown are the fish taco and sopes.
Bought a carne Asad burrito looked ro.isimg lots of nice pictures of guacamole everywhere. When I got my burrito it was the worst style ever no fresh guacamole pico cooked with the meat. Meat was decent red salsa also. No where near my ideal burrito . I also found a hair in my food. Probably one visit and done for me
From New Mexico and this is a good place to eat...

I've been here a few times, as I do laundry a few doors down. I get a bean and cheese burrito everytime. They're portion size is great, the food is always hot and delicious!!! The prices are similar to other Mexican fast food restaurants. They have indoor seating, but it's very warm inside so I've never stayed to eat inside. And soccer in Spanish on the TV isn't appealing to me. I will definitely go here again and I recommend it to anyone in the area or hungry while doing laundry...
Parking: It's a parking lot in a business center. Multiple business's with a large lot for parking. Handicap in front of each business.

One shrimp ceviche tostada was $8.50. Of course I put the change from a
10 in the tip jar, it was about 90* in the lobby. Kitchen must’ve been scorchin. This was my first visit, on a hot summer afternoon. I ordered it to go and ate in the truck since lobby isn’t air conditioned. To my surprise, the tostada was somewhat soggy and all I could taste was ketchup. (not a fan of ketchup). I really liked the hand sink in the lobby. I might return to try something else, but it wouldn’t be the shrimp Ceviche . Staff was friendly, especially new guy training at the register.

Refused to work with dietary restrictions due to pre-diabetes. Insisted they would have to charge extra to substitute potatoes with egg or vegetables, and without substituting the meal would have simply been two eggs for ten dollars.
