Great service. Generous portions. Accommodating 12 of us was great. I ordered the szechuan garlic prawns with fried rice and hot spicy soup.

We placed a takeout order and had to wait over 1 1/2 hours before it was ready. The salt and pepper are chicken wings didn't have a lot of flavor. The house fried rice had a weird after taste. The worse thing was finding a long strand of brown hair in the vegetable chop suey. When we contacted the restaurant, they offered to replace the food for free. Really? We didn't want more food with possible more hair. Refunding some of the money would have been a nice gesture. We threw out half of the food because the hair was an appetite suppressant. We will never order food from Chinese 1968 again.

First off the staff was professional and polite. Nice decore and restaurant was clean . And there open from noon tell 9 pm.
I Stopped in to get some beef low main noodles . They were very good . I usually get house low main. But I wanted to try the beef. Very good worth getting and highly Called the order in and it took 20 minutes witch was fine because I was in spring valley . Head back to Julian so I was able to stop on the way. I wll be back and I do recommend this restaurant. 5 stars for food staff and restaurant.

We've tried a lot of Chinese restaurants around, and this is possibly the best family-style chinese restaurant in all of SD! This is the archetype of good family-run chinese food. If you're remotely considering chinese food, this has to be a must-try.

food was really good at good prices! SERVICE WAS AMAZING. Super friendly staff. Camera did not eat first! A Diet coke, veggie rolls and cashew chicken with fried rice after 3pm. Total $26

I tried the kung pow 🦵 chicken 🐔 and it was great. Not too saucy, just the right size of portions. The meal is affordable during lunch hours. The meal comes with soup 🍲 and fried rice and egg roll.
The soup could be better, maybe adding more veggies 😜 service is the typical Asian service, not much to expect, but overall I would come back and try another dish 🥣

Heard about this place on Instagram. Had to stop by and try the salt and pepper wings. Delicious. Got some noodles too and they gave us some rice.
Nice people, good food, great customer service. Restaurant is clean. 5 stars.

I ordered the salt and pepper shrimp and there was no flavor there of a salt and pepper, I ordered the fry lo mein with all the meat. I swear I only got three shrimps. It was fresh and hot but it lacks flavor. And the customer service was horrible.
This was the worst food. I don't like doing bad reviews but this is a warning I didn't get. Orange chicken was terrible. chow main all thrown away. And the ladies working here rude.

Went there for the first time tonight and it was amazing! The portions are HUGE so prepare for an entree to work for 2 people! We got hot and sour soup (the medium size was a LOT for being medium but worth it!) The salt and pepper wings were awesome and had a wonderfully crispy skin and we got orange chicken and sweet and sour pork 10/10 :)
