If you're ever in El Cajon you have to stop here. It's a total must-do anytime I come back to town. These are not those silly, fancy donuts that places like Krispy Kreme or Dunkin' try to sell you. They are the real ones. The donuts you actually remember from when you were a kid. Seriously, forget those imitators and stick with the originals right here. This place is a must-have for the great taste and a powerful trip down memory lane.

This was the absolute worst donut I’ve ever had in my life. It was literally rotten and I had to spit it out, and my husband’s was equally as disgusting. I can’t believe it. I’m so sad because I saved it. I wanted to eat it at home and now I have no donut and I also have no one to complain to other than Google and my husband. So sad!!!!!

The DOUNUTS here are not the best and let's not get into how rude and disrespectful the staff is that works here. My daughter got a strawberry smoothie one time and she didn't like it and when I tasted it it tasted like antibiotics no fresh fruit all they put was some powder and ice and some milk NASTY 🤢 and when I went back and told them I wanted my money back that my daughter didn't like it and taste nasty the one lady that wears a hat yelled at me and said you bought it you keep it well I yelled back at her and said no I'm not keeping it I WANT MY MY MONEY BACK NOW and one of the other Ladies said will give you your money back it's ok. So that was my experience at this NASTY donut place. Try DONUT BROS down the street so so much better DOUNUTS and service.

Avoid this place at all costs! Terrible customer service! I walked in with no greeting the old asian lady looked at me as if I was robbing her. The taste of these donuts is questionable tatsed like dead fish so I threw it right in the trash.

I stopped in here one time and the lady was so nice! It made me wanna come back. That wasn’t the story today. The Lady was so rude. She was making fun of me for not knowing what type of donut it was. I would point at the donut and she was so rude!!! There was one person behind me, and I felt so embarrassed by how she was talking to me! She even told me at one point that I have to be more descriptive and that she can’t see my finger even though I described it as coconut, she snapped “That’s an old-fashioned!” OK, but it still have coconut right? ….. horrible customer service. I won’t be coming back here. I gave her a 20 when it was $17 and I waited patiently for her to reluctantly give me my change…..

Donuts were questionable. Tasted funky. Like a bad funk.... Got skipped over in line to help regulars. Seeing all the donuts in the window was so neat. Had to throw out 3 1/2 of our 6 because of the terrible taste. For context purposes, the ones that we did eat, were different types too.
