Ordered 2 orders of teriyaki Ribs and it was dissappinting. Whoever bought the meat really focused on fat and gristle. Ordering online shouldn't yield a different result than coming into the restaurant. I will update if the food quality recovers.

Wow, this place rocks really good Hawaiian food at a reasonable price they even have Happy Dad hard seltzer here which makes me super happy! They have a value menu for $12.99 with a drink between the hours of 10 AM and 4 PM Monday through Friday. You can get a Katsu bowl or a teriyaki bowl or a wrap or a mini plate or a cheeseburger or three Musubis. You can have it to go or eat it here, but it has a little Hawaiian vibe here for sure lots of food good price quality stuff. Definitely pay them a visit and try one of the happy dads they have.
The food here is consistently good and the staff are friendly and helpful. We've come here a few times and will continue to return

Personally I would give this place 5 stars for what Ive ordered, the chicken teriyaki bowl. But my dad gives it 3 stars because the breaded fish plates he's gotten, one we didn't say breaded the first time so they gave him a whole fish, who likes eating whole fish? Why is that even on the menu. The second time he ordered correctly but the fish was like paper thin, literally the breading was thicker than the meat. That's how they serve their breaded fish, super thin. Because the last time he ordered breaded shrimp and they gave him the fish plate instead but breaded the same issue super thin meat.
This place is the best hawian food in san diego in my opinion! So good and the service is great.

The service seems to have become stupid and unprofessional. Yesterday, I ordered lunch there. A few minutes after paying for my meal, they informed me they had completely run out of rice. If they were smart they would've made sure that wouldn't happen.

It was my first time today, I was really excited for this place, my husband and I went on his lunch, got the chicken katsu and a drink, first couple bites were fine, my husband was not a bit fan on how the macaroni salad tasted, L&L's is better for sure. The rice was decent, but on my 3rd bite of the chicken, I felt something abnormal in my mouth, tried to remove it but it was too late, looked at the fork and there was a hair in the chicken, I feel sick to my stomach because I know I ate a piece of that hair. The cashier was so nice, the atmosphere was so chill, but I will never get over that hair in my mouth. I am embarrassed and disgusted, unfortunately will not recommend this place and will advise people to eat with caution if you decide to come here. L&L never had this issue. I wish I took a picture but I got out of there so quick filled with disgust. They did refund my money which I appreciated, I would have disputed the charges either way. Horrible eating experience. Zero stars if I could rate it as that.
