I needed some freshly roasted espresso, Daymar is 5 minutes from my house. They’re a wholesale coffee roaster and also have a selection of 1lb bags of coffee. The gentleman recommended Espresso Grato. The aroma from the bag was captivating; I couldn’t wait to go home a pull a shot of espresso. It did not disappoint; smooth and well balanced, low acidity and delicious flavors all around. 5 out of 5 stars 🌟.
I've gotten my coffee beans from several roasters in my area. Daymar is my favorite by far. Great taste, plenty of different styles and roasts to choose from, and it's roasted in premises which gives you the freshest beans. This is more of a wholesale type business, don't expect to just show up and walk out with a bag of coffee. You can go there and talk to them, see the options, but it will take some time for them to package what you decide on. Now that I know...
I have been buying coffee beans from various roasters for the past 25 years; Daymar has, IMO, the best coffee in the San Diego area. Freshly roasted, always very high quality. The only problem is that, once you try them, you will need to keep going back to them for coffee forever....
