It was the height of lunch hour, and it was being run beautifully.The service was very good, but my burrito's avocado was in one end of it, and the chicken in it was a little bit dry.I give the atmosphere 4 stars because it was pretty loud in there, the noise generated by the equipment and the employees talking loudly.

We went to a Pollo Loco on Broadway near the target in El Cajon yesterday. The food was outstanding. We ordered the 16 piece chicken with coleslaw, mashed potatoes, gravy, and corn. We took it to go and when we got home it was still hot which was amazing. Because typically normal normal takeout we have to heat up in the microwave when we get it home. Normally there are only two maybe three breasts in this meal we got for and four of everything actually five wings and somehow a fifth Thigh. The salsa was a mild salsa, as usual, had a little bit of a kick which we enjoy. The store was exceptionally clean and the employees were friendly with quick service. Give them a try if you need to a takeout as a last minute or planned. Great food I would recommend this El Pollo Loco.

Very bad customer service! Young lady with blue hair had an attitude and wouldn't even acknowledge . Everyone pretty much stood around not acknowledging the customers waiting to order or orders being picked up.
