I think they have changed names. Doesn't matter. This is hands down the best Mexican food in East county, if not San Diego. We tried some new rolled tacos, and oh my God the flavors! Burritos are great and they have nopals. Please try this place!
I’ve been here a couple times and every time the guys that work here have always been extremely nice. The food was amazing! Everything on their vegetarian menu looks super good... can’t for the Next time I’m in El Cajon to try the rest.
This place is fun. Although I still prefer a typical San Diego taco shop, it is nice fo mix it up once in a while. Besides, even though I love Funky Fries and Burgers, I missed Tres Amigos. So, in some kind of way, welcome back!
Love the honest. The food was good so I went twice. I'm going to go back very, very soon. Hope to be able to update y'all.
I'm not sure what are they trying to feed, but for the price and in general the portions are HUGE! Everything I had from here was BEYOND DELICIOUS, fresh and easily can feed 2 and I'm a freaking vacuum cleaner!
Not as impressive as I would have liked. The cashier was nice but if I was the boss I would have reprimanded her because she did not offer me membership where I would gain points. The whole point of becoming a member is to have customers come more often. She saw me enter my phone number after I paid and said nothing. She was also a little bit stuck up. Don't think I'll go back.
I love this place, their taquito come layered with so much guacamole!! On Uber Eats the delivery time is so fast too! Its so good!
Ordered a shrimp & a carne asada taco. Amazing.
I could only eat half of my burrito. Huge! I used a coupon from Get 1 Free!
Ordered Hot Cheeto Burrito and the Mac N Cheese rolled tacos. All was good. Bit hot inside the place. Only 4 bar stools and counter top to sit at but we were the only ones eating inside at the time on a Sunday at 530pm. No restrooms here or place to wash your hands. About 18 parking spots here for the complex mostly in and out costumers from Little Caesars pizza and the next door liquor store.

Ive enjoyed funky fries and now the brand has delivered another good restaurant. A bit pricey. The Bulgolgi Burrito was really good.
It was actually really good. I got the Pho-rito which is Pho is the form of a burrito. It was actually delicious. Very spicy but super good. And the burrito is ridiculously big. I barely ate half of it. Will go there again for sure but this time, I will try a normal Mexican dish to see if it's good for when I want real Mexican food.
We shared a funky burrito which had rolled tacos inside, and also a pizza taco. You read that right. The place has only about 6 barstools, so most patrons get the funkiness ' to go '. The A/C wasn't working this hot afternoon, making the place a bit uncomfortable, but somehow that contributed to the authenticity. Food was good, service was good. Staff is friendly and helpful.
We LOVE this place! It's become our new go to spot for Mexican food. The burritos are huge, the carne asada taco is so good, but the elites fries are my favorite!
I was going to give a 4 just because the space is so a small that I couldn't eat there but the staff and menu were “funky†so it's a 5.
