Tarbosh Mediterranean Restaurant

We aren’t local—visited all the way from Utah—and they still made us feel right at home. The food and the host truly elevated our experience. Everything was delicious, fresh, and impressively clean, including the bathrooms! Sadly, it’s rare to find Middle Eastern restaurants that check every box, but this one absolutely does.

The customer service was warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy. The food and juices were amazing, and the entire place was spotless. We’ll definitely be coming back, and we honestly can’t recommend it enough!

Honestly, my experience at this restaurant was amazing. From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with such warmth — they were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome right away.

The food was outstanding. The chicken shawarma had an incredible flavor, the grilled chicken was perfectly cooked and delicious, and the open buffet was fantastic — a wide variety of dishes, all clean, fresh, and very well organized.

And I have to mention the restrooms — extremely clean and well-maintained, which really shows how much they care about their place.

No good service and the owner so tough

Tarbosh Mediterranean Restaurant is easily one of my favorite spots for authentic Mediterranean food. Every time I come here, the food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and prepared with real care. You can taste the quality in every bite — from the perfectly seasoned meats to the fresh salads and warm, fluffy bread. Their dishes have that homemade taste that’s hard to find anywhere else.

The service is just as impressive. The staff is always welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. They take the time to make sure your experience is great and that you have everything you need. Even during busy hours, they manage to keep the service smooth and fast, which I really appreciate.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a comfortable dining area that feels clean and well-maintained. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing take-out, it’s a place where you feel relaxed and taken care of.

Overall, Tarbosh is a solid 5-star restaurant — great food, great people, and great vibes. Highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys Mediterranean cuisine or just wants a good, satisfying meal.

The front desk experience wasn’t great for my mom today. The woman who helped her came across as unfriendly, and it left my mom feeling discouraged. This visit wasn’t what we expected.

I just wanted to say that the food was delicious and the customer service was perfect. Our server helped us with everything we needed, even during payment when she kindly skipped the tip. All the staff were very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back!

Tarboosh is one of the standout Middle Eastern restaurants in San Diego, serving authentic Lebanese cuisine with rich flavors that truly feel like home. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the dishes—once they arrive—are absolutely delicious. Although I would honestly give the experience three stars because the food came out late and the French fries were cold, there was one thing that completely transformed my entire visit.

Mona—the waitress who took care of us—was exceptional in every possible way. Her welcoming spirit, her kindness, her energy, and the beautiful harmony she brings to the table create an experience you don’t forget. She is the true definition of hospitality. From the moment she greeted us, she made us feel valued, respected, and genuinely appreciated. Her service alone elevated everything to a five-star level.

I can confidently say that Mona is the reason I’m giving this place a full five stars. Her smile, her warmth, and her attention to detail made the delay and the cold fries feel insignificant. With service like hers, you leave the restaurant feeling happy and wanting to return. I truly hope next time the fries come out warm and crunchy, because the rest of the food was delicious.

I had such a great experience at breakfast today. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and the service went above and beyond. We tried the breakfast open buffet, and the pastries were definitely my favorite! Im definitely gonna revisit the place .
