Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing due to the condition of the restaurant.

During my visit, I noticed that the facility was not being maintained to a professional standard. Most of the booths were in poor condition and clearly in need of being reupholstered. Additionally, the floors throughout the dining area were noticeably dirty, which contributed to a very negative overall impression of the establishment.

I hope you will take these concerns into consideration and take the necessary steps to improve the cleanliness and seating at this location. I look forward to hearing how you plan to address these maintenance issues.

Good food at a great price..i left stuffed to the gills!

Worst food I've had in a long time. Place is filthy, smelled like dirty towels used to wipe down surfaces. Holy both seats. Extremely dirty floors. Dried and mushy good. Overall awful. $75 for 3 of us....a complete rip off. Worst place ever. My stomach is nauseous just thinking about it. I tried to like something ...the peanut butter cookies were edible. Waitress was nice and attentive.

Slop. Literal slop for 90% of the food. It was not appetizing at all, to charge 25$ for dinner with drink is insane. I could only eat the fried chicken and the corn because everything else was just sitting there for who knows how long. The refill the hot plates with new food and mix the old food with the new one. I hope people arent getting sick from this. The “clean” dishes are kept in a grimey container and the tables, chairs and the overall restaurant looks so dirty and is falling apart. I cannot believe people come here. First and last time visiting Golden Corral. If I could give it a negative star I would. Surprised food and safety hasn’t been called here. The sever lady was the only redeemable thing about this place.

Came to have dinner with my boys and daughter in law after a long day at Sea World worst service ever. I had to go find the waiter and asked her for our drinks after almost finishing up our first plate then again had to find her again to get refills. When we’re serving our self some Mac Cheese the spoon was broken. When I let staff know she removed the pease of the spoon that was broken in the trey instead of taking the whole trey and putting a new one for health issues this was unacceptable. When asking for our steaks they have had some in the trey sitting there for a while wanted mine medium the cook wanted to had me one on the trey that where cooked well done. The place was dirty most of the food was dry, and looked it had been sitting there for a while. Will not recommend this place to anyone. To be honest don’t know how can this please be open.

After a day at SeaWorld, my husband and I stopped at Golden Corral in El Cajon, thinking it would be a classic, reliable choice. It was anything but.

The parking lot felt unsafe, the floors were sticky, the place didn’t seem clean, and there was a strong unpleasant smell. Most of the buffet trays were empty and not being refilled.

We asked for a refund and left. After reading other reviews, I honestly don’t know how this location is still operating.

Went with a friend at about 3:30pm so it wasn't too crowded. The food was cool. Can't beat the amount of food for the price. Will be going back but for bfast to see what they got. Overall I enjoyed it. Left very satisfied.

I enjoy going there but the one in El Cajon is very, very, warm when your trying to eat or I was to close to the steam tables either way it was warm

Open til 9 but would not let me in at 8:11... drove 25 miles to enjoy GC but I was locked out. Very upset!

The food was pretty good. We served ourselves so no service was really provided. The atmosphere was blah as it is a dinette Buffet

Says they're open till 9:00, but When I arrived at 8:45 the doors were locked. I've been here several times before and the soft serve machine has been broken for months.

Food was good. Service was average. The only bad thing was when we went back to get more meatloaf and got back to our table. The meatloaf smelled bad. I asked for the manager on duty on my way out to notify him but nobody knew where he was.
Tables were kind of grimey, could use a good cleaning.
The look when you walk in kind of made us want to walk out. The parking lot had atleast 4 piles of vomit on the way in (gross)
Door glass was filthy and covered in finger prints and just dirty. The walls as you walk in are dirty and could definitely use some paint.
