Tasty food, very good atmosphere. The service was a bit busy due to the crowded place, but it was good.

Food was good, not great. Service was slow especially for not being that busy. Atmosphere felt and smelled like a hole in the wall bar the morning after a busy night of beer and a lot of people.

Very overpriced for the quality and small portions of food, the beef ribs were overcooked, dry and hard. I got very disappointed, was expecting more.

We order $150.00 worth of food to go, told had to wait outside with a 7 month old in the cold and never called to say order was ready.

This place gets pretty busy on weekends! The parking lot may be full but you can still park along the street. It’s pretty large so there’s usually seats. I love the borracho fries, so good! Also the pulled pork and the cheeseburger are tasty too. The service is good as well. My one complaint is they run out of their popular items by 2pm, tri tip and hot links get sold out really fast. I know they can only bbq so much but maybe add some more of the popular meats?

Serious disappointment. First & last time I'll eat here. The scam is they only sell their meat "by the pound" which translates into exorbitant prices for a bbq meal. F/E, beef ribs are sold at a 1lb minimum or $30 for, you heard it, TWO bones. (Sides extra)The owner goes so far as to call them "Dino" bones as in huge dinosaur size.I say. "Dont p.. down ny back and tell me it's raining. My dinosaur was seriously obese as what the owner leaves out is what they leave in, 3xs as much fat cap on the bone as edible meat. The bones themselves are beyond skimpy in size (Lucille's in Temecula is twice the size for less $) so the owner's "padding" the weight with fat.
The wife and I have had bbq from Oceanside to Encinitas to Temecula to Chula Vista and all points in between and $91 for 2 beef ribs, about 7 spare ribs, a serving of potato salad & fries, a glass of sweet tea and a $7.50 glass of Pacifico is more than enough to chase me away. As uf the high prices arent enough, to add insult to injury there's not a dinner plate or bowl in the joint. Food is delivered in paper "french fry" containers. Ribs, Salad , everything in paper. The place is seriously dated and no attempt at providing a pleasing dining experience is made. (Not even hand wipes or wet towels. Come on, this is bbq!)
The staff was polite but the food came out in 10 minutes barely warm and certainly not the required 135* holding temp. The fries and potato salad were good but again, served in paper containers. Given the dated appearance of the tables, chairs, glasses etc and unjustifiably high prices with a bait and switch of fat for meat in their pricing, there's no way I could recommend this bbq joint. I'm being generous with 2 stars.

First time here looked pretty slow to me lots of seats not sure how it looks busy but bar tender with the mullet was in his work to slammed to ask a question too or to order a beer sample from them was really interested in buying the 4 pack but didn't want to commit if it was nasty. Probably won't seat at the bar area with mullet man there if he's slammed with a Moderate crowd.

Really great food and service! We had a great time. We ordered 1/4 pound each of tri tip and turkey plus a hot link and some drinks. The spicy slaw wasn't spicy at all but all the meat was delicious. Had some loaded fries and enjoyed some live music. We had a great night!

Upon coming here I realized very quickly this is THE place to head to. The restaurant opened at 1200 noon got there at 1247 NO PARKING. After realizing this is a popular spot it definitely lived up to the great praise. Food was amazing great barbecue sauce sweet and spicy. The actual restaurant is huge and I loved the patio would recommend for anyone the drive is eh but outside of that it was nice.

Came here on a Saturday around 5pm and unfortunately they were sold out of the tri tip and beef ribs. Those were the meats that we had planned to order so we had to review our plan. We ordered brisket, pulled pork, spare ribs, and the flood pie for dessert. The brisket was super tender and the star of the order. The ancho chili powder flavor was overwhelming on the pulled pork, but it was better the next day mixed with rice. Overall a good experience but will definitely come earlier to make sure we can get the beef ribs and tri tip.

Good bbq brisket sandwich. Get there early for the best food selections. We arrived after 7 pm on a Wednesday. The turkey, short ribs, and hot links were sold out. I'm going to try it again soon.
