The owner is a good and fair man. Salads are great and have a great price. I finally tried the gluten-free pizza, and you can make it how you want it. I had alfredo sauce, chicken, and bacon. It was a little expensive but it was good. This makes me believe the regular pizzas are just as good. He has a tone of amazing dishes like different mac and cheese flavors that I wish I could eat, but I have a gluten sensitivity. And the owner remembers my name. I love this place.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free pizza

Normally I love Grand Stand Pizza on Magnolia, but last night I had a super embarrassing and illegal experience. And will definitely not be ordering or coming back. I was out and had my fully trained service dog Smash with me. The guy comes out from the back and points to a no pets sign. I politely say he’s a service dog not a pet and I have disabilities that he helps mitigate. I shouldn’t have to air this out but have a joint/connective tissue condition and he helps me with my mobility on days I need extra help as well as my anxiety in which he is able to keep me grounded, lead me to exits or take me back to my car if I get overwhelmed or perform DPT if I’m having a panic attack. He also alerts to my blood pressure since that has been an issue off and on my whole life. He then tells me he’s just following the sign. And I explained to him it was illegal to deny access to a service dog. And he just didn’t care I guess? If my disabilities were able to be seen would he have asked me to leave? Per the ADA or Americans with disabilities act service dogs are allowed an any public place that I would be allowed just like other medical equipment like canes and wheelchairs. Would I have been denied if I was in a wheelchair?

They didn't have to be open on Thanksgiving, but they were. They didn't have to put extra effort into their pizza to make it top tier. They didn't have to give us a free slice of cake when we were all working overtime, but they did.Top tier. Top value. Buy their pizza.

It really is so good. The sauce is perfect, the dough is fluffy, pick up service is so helpful and it's a classic looking pizza shop. Gets you just want you need! He eat for grab and go, it's a bit warm inside so get a cold drink to go.

On September 12, 2023, I stopped by Grandstand Pizza after work, so about 3:15 pm, I found out that my friend no longer owns the business and it is under new owners and under new management. I placed my order of a 14 inch pizza with 1 topping for $9.99. I ordered beef, I was informed they don't have beef as an option, I said you guys used to offer beef as a topping, the younger cashier said that they stopped offering it due to lack of requests for the beef topping, so I ordered the pizza with red onions. After I ordered I sat down and grabbed a small stack of a few months old complimentary Free Reader magazines that were there for customers read and enjoy while waiting for their order. As I flipped threw a few magazines, one of the older staff members with curly gray hair starts angrily yelling at me, asking me what was I doing. I told him I was looking through the stack to look for a issue that I have not seen before. He said to put them back and that they were not there only for me but for other customers to enjoy also. I told him that I understood and will put them back after I go thru the small stack of about 7 or 8 issues. I was the only customer in the pizza joint. I put them back. As I went thriugh them all, I told him they were all old issues and I had already seen them and placed them all back where they were. I asked him why was he getting upset at me, we argued for a bit and I told him that I was a customer and that the free magazines were serving it's purpose. This staff member was totally out of line and should not be in contact with the public customers. He kept badgering me until I picked up my order and left. I hope no one else experience this what I went through. The food is ok, not my first time there. The service was average. But the atmosphere was so lousy. I really did not enjoy my pizza after this experience. That older staff member with gray curly hair was so, so, so RUDE. Unless you want to be insulted, stay away from this place. It used to be a good place to go to with the previous owner, but with this new owner and new management, this place sucks. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I went into grandstand pizza for the first time I wasn't sure what i wanted to eat there are a lot of choices on their menu so I decided i wanted the 3 chicken strips dinner when I ordered it at the counter I wanted to have them tossed in a sauce the middle eastern man told me they don't come like that they come with ranch so already I was annoyed by his bad customer service I took it home and noticed it looked like fish sticks but it was chicken strips the fully cooked chicken strips from the freezer isle in Vons I was not happy at all I'm a chef and you are gonna serve me this crap so I called them back and who ever answered the phone was rude I asked him why did you serve me these chicken strips that I can buy at vons in the freezer section the photo on the wall that you display doesn't look like what you served me he said why didn't you go buy it from vons look I'm in business and I know how to treat customers and this is so unprofessional for a establishment I will never buy from them again one thing I know is ( Raw Chicken Strips are fried in a fryer not microwaved )

Unassuming location offering great pizza and meatball subs. This location is in a small mall strip next to a massage parlor and could be easily missed. We came close to closing. We were greeted by a chef with a great sense of humor. The place is small but very clean. We grabbed our small pizza and meatball subs to go and they remained warm during the trip! So the first bite was like being in the restaurant, very enjoyable. Only real complaint is that the meatballs are too small for the bun.
