I don't understand why this place isn't packed at dinner time. By far the best Mediterranean food in the area.Extremely clean place with friendly staff and very fast service. You need to try this place.

My friend, who is a native Iraqi, took me to Happy Time and I was blown away by the authenticity and deliciousness of the food. We ordered a sampler of things and the kanaf at the end was simply mouth-watering. Five stars for the food, service and friendliness!

I absolutely love happy time. I eat there frequently and I am always happy with the food I order. I always get the beef shawarma wrap and it it delicious every time. You can't beat the quality of food for the price. Incredibly reasonable. The owner is really nice aswell.Parking: It is is the same parking lot and strip mall as a 711 so there's always parking.

Went last night for the first time. While we did take out, I was pretty impressed with the interior of the restaurant. Not only was the staff friendly and enthusiastic, the preparation didn't take much time. The food was delicious and the combo plates had large portions. The prices were reasonable as well - especially for the quantity received. We will be back!

Found this place through yelp which i'm glad I did! My boyfriend and I had been craving some good mediterranean food and we were thoroughly satisfied after coming here :) We ordered the falafel happy bowl and chicken shawarma wrap (recommendation of the owner). He even offered us two bowls of lentil soup on the house after ordering which was extremely kind and the soup was fantastic. It tasted just like the one my grandma used to make so the nostalgia hit home as pictured by the nearly empty bowls lol. Owner and staff were very welcoming and happy to give recommendations once I let them know it was my firsttime there. There was plenty of seating such as booths, tables for four, and two large family tables great for family dinners. There was also barstool seating by the entrance. After talking with the owner a bit more he told me that this place has been open for 6 years and also has another location in Baghdad that's been open for over 25+ years. Overall a great find and amazing food that was flavorful and filling. Couldn't recommend it enough

I really liked the eggplant on the salad plate. The lamb kabobs were great, I am a steak guy and the filet was as good as it gets. I travel to the area for work and look forward to next time. I wouldn't have found it or tried it, but the solid recommendation was spot on. Try it, you will like it !!

I've had a couple of burgers from this place. I've had the regular Angus Cheese Burger and the Iraqi Hammurabi Burger.I thought both burgers were okay. I am not particularly fond of the sesame bun they use. Both times, the bread was on the dry side and was too large for the beef patty in each burger. It's so big that it's hard to even see the beef patty when looking at the burger. A good burger usually offers a patty that is flush with the outer rim of the bun, or the beef actually sticks out a bit.The Angus burger beef quality was good, but they did overcook it, given they forgot to the cheese on it, and they placed the burger back on the grill. As a result, the burger was overcooked. In reality, they should have fired up a new burger. The Hammurabi Burger's flavor was okay, too. I found it to be a little gamey even though it's all beef.In both visits, the fries were underdone and too soft. Seasoning was good, but they needed to be crisper on the outside.
