I used to like coming here on my lunch break. After trying to get the potato wedges I paid for I was told that I needed to pay a second time, despite me showing the receipt and change in my hand. After asking for my money back I was told that IM the problem customer. Yeah. Sure. I'm never coming back and telling my coworkers that if they do decide to come here they better pay with card because otherwise your order will be messed up and they'll treat you like a thief.

🤮 this location is gross! Just ordered tacos and fries and it smells old and nasty! You guys need to change out your oil or something it’s really bad, I couldn’t even eat my food! The location down the street is way better but they had problems with their app so I came here. Big mistake cuz I threw it away since it started making me feel sick

They are doing the best they can in our local neighborhood. However, after much abuse by local teens, the average and respectful restaurant goers must depend on employees for some of the basics.

My local Jack in the box. Never had a bad experience here. My latest addiction is fill out the receipt survey then next trip two for one jumbo Jack's. And repeat. Used to get donation $1 cirly fry but I think it's over now boo. Late night munchy meal boxes and crazy and so good but soo bad for you lol.

I've dined in here twice and wish the food, sourdough jack and homestyle chicken sandwich, that I had came hot. Same with the fries. They were pretty much lukewarm and with this type of food you can really taste the fast food quality when its lukewarm. Otherwise, all the staff here have been really friendly and welcoming.
This must be the best Jack in the box in the city, the employees are fabulous the food is delicious and it's nice and clean.

I asked for a chicken sandwich and asked to have it freshly made because I enjoy the sandwich more when it’s crispy. Unfortunately, it wasn’t freshly made and it barely had any heat to it.

As a Jack in the Box goes it's Jack in the box. If you are looking for quick bite try the bacon Swiss burger. But i would recommend this Jack in the box from Lakeside, Santee and here in El Cajon just because the employees at this one treats everyone with respect. Hands down here is where i will choose.
Wheelchair accessibility: For a individual that has to use a walker the entrance is kinda tricky to get to but way worth the effort.
