What an incredible find!! We ordered the Chilaquiles special, the Prime Rib and Eggs special, and the Pork Chops and Eggs. Everything was cooked perfectly. Our waitress, Isabella, was wonderful. She even left a beautiful, handwritten message on our receipt that warmed my heart and made me smile. Janet's Cafe is a keeper and definitely on our favorites list.
3 weeks later update, back to Janet's cafe for another enjoyable breakfast. This time we ordered the Ham Steak and Eggs, Country Fried Steak and eggs, and another round of Grilled Pork Chops, with one of the largest Buttermilk Biscuits I've ever seen.
This morning we were seated on the right side of the restaurant, so sadly, we didn't have Isabella again, but still an overall great dining experience. ☺️

I had been to the Alpine Janet’s, but never this one. Went in today for brunch and had the spinach omelette. It was delicious and I asked for crispy hashbrowns and that’s exactly what came out. Super friendly waitress lovely blessing crew even though they’re continually having to dodge people. It doesn’t affect their cheery altitude. The booths are a little on the small side, but I’m a little so it’s not a problem but could be an issue for some who are not.

Immediate service at 6:30am and with a smile. Food was fast & tasted great. A pleasure to have met a friend there for breakfast before a job we were doing together. A little out of my way in the other side of town but better than the Big name breakfast chains for sure!

We love the homestyle vibe at Janet's. My husband had the machaca omelet which was the special for that day. He said it was very good and full of lots of flavor. You could tell the meat was homemade because there was a bay leaf in the omelet. My husband said the home fries were good but some of them were not cooked all the way and needed about 5 minutes more on the grill. I ordered a ham and cheese omelet with hashbrowns. The omelet and hashbrowns were so filling, I had to take half of it home. My toast was delicious with the perfect amount of butter. The server was so nice, she brought me alot of vanilla creamer for my coffee. For the amount of food you get and the great service, you definitely get a great value here at Janet's. We will definitely be returning again.
