This place has excellent food, atmosphere, and service. The bar is cool with TV & maybe live music. Pretty much tried most of my favorites, and all tasted really good. They even have pasta, which is on my list, but I think its only for catering (will update). Also, have soup of the day, so call in!
I was so disappointed in this place! The perfect little town of Crest deserves better! Small portions with big prices and subpar quality. Sorry guys! But I had to give an honest review! I will not be eating there again.

They have perfected a way to wrap a burrito to eliminate filling it with meat and will stuff it with anything other than meat. You get mostly folded over tortilla and fillers. I ordered a double meat Carne Asada burrito tonight without guacamole to test this theory. It was the size of a regular burrito but it was $15. The quality was good but the portion of meat I received was the same size as a normal burrito. I will not be buying any food here anymore. I have noticed this happen multiple times, but keep trying to give them a chance. I am not doing it anymore. I'm tired of wasting my money. Ponchos at the bottom of the hill will get my business because they give me what I pay for.

Great tasty food at fair prices ! The family owned restraunt has superb service and very friendly owners. Popular place with alot of good meals for everyone taste. Highly reccommend and extra special on their music nights.

Great food so far every time we've eaten here. Breakfast burrito (supreme) was delicious. So nice so close to home. Rolled tacos are excellent. Can't wait to try some more delicious food!!

Hidden Gem of El Cajon Crest! On the mountain you don't need to go far for yummy food, great service, and consistency. Quality is always great. We always get la Cresta Burrito, Meatlovers Burrito, 5 rolled tacos, 2 Floutas #8 Chili relleno two cheese enchiladas rice and beans. Tip: get your Burrito "wet".

Great food. Good service. Not the best in the world but we enjoy them a lot. I usually get the Fish Burrito and it's got good taste to it.
It's a very good Mexican food restaurant. The people are nice and on special Fridays they have live music.
