I have been to Mr. Shawarma a few times already, and they never disappoint. The food tastes really good! I recommend getting their beef shawarma rice plate. I have always had someone welcome me to the store. Every employee that has taken my order has been very friendly and courteous. Keep up the good work!

First visited Mr Shawarma by chance when my grandmother was at a care facility in the neighborhood. At the time, there was nothing I needed more than some comforting, flavorful, substantial food. The shawarma and other offerings at Mr Shawarma were so good that I have kept going back, though I no longer have business in El Cajon, and I stop by whenever I am coming to San Diego to visit family. The beef and lemon shawarma is my favorite, but the chicken is also very good, and the dolma and hummus are great to take home. The staff here are kind and understanding and have been great to me every time. Highly recommend & also worth the time to stop at the sweet shop two doors down for some treats to bring to your friends or family.

The chicken shawarma is the worst we've had ever. In that place, the chicken quality is very poor with the dark meat, and the supposed a garlic sauce, has no relatively to the garlic at all, it's merely flour and water that has an awful tastes. We don't want anyone to have the same horrible experience.
