This is my absolute favorite outback! Their food is always so delicious and never disappoints. But, their staff is truly what makes it incredible. Whenever I go, I always request Mary Frances to be my server. She is so funny and makes me laugh every visit. Along with this, she always makes sure our drinks come out fast and never forgets any condiments we may need. If you are in San Diego this is the only Outback you should go to!

I went to outback with my sister and daughter this past weekend and had the most lovely experience! I was kindly welcomed by the host staff and my server, Mary Frances, was absolutely incredible! Her service was so incredibly thoughtful and made me feel truly welcomed. Our cups were never empty and she had such a warm demeanor. I am so thankful Mary Frances made our dining experience so wonderful, not to mention our food was delicious too!

Went today for a ladies lunch. We had 16 people. It took 15 minutes for anybody to even take our order and another 20 minutes for water to come to the table. Couldn’t drink my water because the waiter disappeared before I could ask for a straw. Our party chatted for a good 30 minutes before we had any drinks other than water. Even my friend that ordered a soda didn’t get her drink. When the food finally came to the table, the people on the right of the table ordered first, but we got our food last. I asked for my steak, medium rare and it was well done so I had to send it back. It should’ve taken about five minutes to get a new one since I wanted it barely cooked, but it took 20 more minutes and it was time to go by the time I got my steak. I was never offered an apology or any compensation for that which was quite annoying. I don’t know what our complete bill was, but I know I paid for mine and my friends and it was $70 and that was just two of us so I’m assuming that our ladies lunch brought in about $500. While we were waiting for our food, a man was waiting in the front with His party for an extended amount of time and he came over and complained to the bartender. All in all I think there was only three people working and there were two parties. The other party was similar in size. I used to go to outback once a week and I was looking forward to going and having steak but it didn’t taste anything like what I remember. Overall, it was a huge disappointment. The mac & cheese was good and my blooming onion was good, but the steak was mediocre at best. I also ordered the peach alcoholic beverage. Don’t remember the name, but it didn’t even give me a buzz so I would have to say it was very weak. Overall, for the amount of money I spent I was disappointed.

Great experience. Hadn't been to Outback in awhile and Brandy's service paired well with the food.
Steaks are always cooked to perfect temperature. Meals are big. We always share ours and go home full. Love a cocktail with dinner. They always have a seasonal fun one. The wedge salad is a great starter to dinner, big and shareable. Of course the warm bread - yum.
