Great place to stop in and enjoy the beautiful property and great people. Honey wine is fantastic!
Our group had a great honey wine tasting and sourdough pairings. We arrived a little after noon and parking is limited and tight. Don't bring your big vehicles. We were greeted and then seated in the shade. There's a clean port a potty for the restroom. For $20, you get to taste their honey wine and sparkling honey wine with five delicious sourdough pairings. Highly recommend others to come! The owner (and chef) and his helper were so nice and welcoming. Their bottle of honey wine is $20 and the sparkling was $60. Lucky for us, it was on sale for $50.
Amazing winery! Delicious honey wine and great hosts!!
One of the best adult spots in San Diego, CA. If you just want to have a peaceful, relaxed chill day with family or friends then this is the place for you. I have been up numerous times and enjoyed it each and every time. 1st I went with my significant other. I couldn't get the experience out of my mind so I went a 2nd time with my long time Sista/Friend. Then my 3rd time I brought an entire group of Beautiful Women up to enjoy the experience. Everyone raves about the experience, environment, host Kwaku and his lovely wife the hostess Momma Sun is the best darn Vegan chef there is in San Diego. The wine is beyond expectations and the owner Dale Pearson is the most down to earth coolest dude you will ever met.Make sure to give this place a try because you won't be disappointed.Bonus. I hosted a Mothers and Daughters event and purchased a few bottles of the Honey Wine and Champagne and did a Sunset Toast on the Ship with my ladies.
The wine is outstanding, which would be enough to make the trip out to visit Pearson Brothers. On top of that though, the owners are super kind and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The area of East county SD is beautiful too!
We were having one of those noise pollution days and decided to take a drive. We came up on this place and had the urge to stop. So very glad we did. The honey wine and bubbly are VERY tasty. The experience of free samples was a refreshing change. We were even entertained with a nature walk on the property by Dale one of the owners. It was so worth the stop for the alcohol but the story telling and amusement were icing on the cake. I highly recommend a visit and a taste test.
Best experience I've had at any winery. They are so friendly, amicable and offer such a cool experience. They are so passionate about how they create their wine sustainably and its such a beautiful place to enjoy. Wine was absolutely delicious!
One of the best wineries I have ever been to! The honey wine is so unique and absolutely delicious! Not too sweet at all. The owner is so friendly and extremely knowledgeable, we could talk to him for hours. The ambience is fantastic and the property is beautiful. Amazingly well trained and super friendly dogs. The cocktails are so good and very creative. 100% recommend the dreamcicle cocktail! We are from out of state and are already planning a trip back for the wine
absolutely amaze-balls fantastic!!! We have lived in east county for a while & had no idea about this cool place until it was advertised on next-door. The wine is frikken made by the bees AND IS DELISH!!!!! How awesome is that?! I even brought my 9 year old & my 75 year old mother - we all loved it! They gave my kiddo a fruit drink sample tasting which was so thoughful :) And oh boy the three resident dogs are so incredible and probably the best behaved and trained dogs I have ever met. My only 2 regrets was wearing flip flops so I could not explore the hiking trail on his huge 65+ acre property and eating BEFORE we came to visit, I would of LOVED to try the food offerings, next time........ You HAVE TO come check this place out, I promise it's worth the drive, PS. It is just a short distance from Sycuan Casino so if you are making a weekend of it at the resort - STOP BY THIS PLACE!!!!! It is peaceful, serene and just amazing....... THANK-YOU DAN!
This is exactly the kind of place you hope to randomly stumble upon on a Saturday drive in the “back country.” Deliciously unique wines crafted from native wild flower honey (harvested on site), and a couple friendly faces to pour you a glass or 3/teach you all about their creative vision/process.

The owner is a great guy. He really loves what he does and you can definitely taste it. I really enjoyed trying the wine. It's amazing what you can do with honey. Truly one of my best experiences I've had at any winery. The area is beautiful around and the people are great.
Excellent wine! Excellent people ?!
I honestly wish more would put half as much care into the craft! I am glad I met the producer of these unique spirits amd simply listened to what they were doing. My family and friends now ask about whether or not I have bottles to spare!
I thought I would try out the new local winery, as its made with honey and some oranges - I thought it was a pretty good wine - surprisingly, the Saccharo is not really sweet per se, though the sparkling wine for me was a touch sweet. I think the Saccharo would make a nice summer drinking wine, or for mixers. It has a good flavor and is not mild like a Pinot Gris.
They only have the Saccharo and the sparkling wine, but they also provide some cocktail like options as well - though I didn't try them...I'm driving, the sparkling with orange juice was probably tasty. Not 100% sure, but I think its all $5 per drink, samples of both wines are free.
He has beekeepers place hives on the property, so he can actually make wine from a local source, but not the case in every batch. The owner is friendly and will answer questions about the winery and the process.
Parking is limited currently but he plans to expand in the near future. I only mention this, as I would not plan to round up everyone you know to make a trip of it. :-)
The small ponds do attract wildlife, and there were plenty of bees using the water....and birds eating the bees.
The two dogs on the premises are friendly, and very fluffy.
