Not your traditional authentic Salvadorian food. Pupusa combos come with rice... never seen that before. We had individual Pupusas,a lil undercooked,beans looked like pinto beans, The curtido was still undercooked as well. Needed a bit more fermentation with the vinegar, salsa was mehh. A bit too pricey for bland Pupusas they lacked flavor. Can they improve, yes. Service was ok.

Totally WORTH the Drive I live 30 minutes away and grew up in Los Angeles, this is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST Pupusas in So. Cal! Service is excellent, atmosphere is on point. Its the PERFECT place to TRY Pupusas if you have never had them. You wont be disappointed. I've been here twice and both times have been very happy with my orders.

Not only is the food good it's right next door to one of the best dentist in all of El Cajon, Dr Caesar at Sun Valley dental is kind and patient and fairly reasonably priced, you can go get your teeth cleaned get them checked out, and then go next door and have some of the best Mexican food in all of San Diego County.

Never in my life have they wanted to run me out of a restaurant. After having recommended this place to family. The prices have gone up and we can't stay to talk, even with food ordered. While we were eating, the table was ordered. In other words, that we were. Pity. We will never return to this place. And we hope to see from afar when they close their doors for the last time. This is how Salvadorans will be.

Had the Chicharon with cheese. It was delicious, the rice was good no tomato sauce and the cabbage salad is the best.
Good service.
Gets rather busy when I went it was lunch time so I had wait for a table.

Fantastic food !!! The sweet lady spoke to us for a while and was a pleasant conversation. The food was fantastic and yummy. Definitely will come back for seconds
