Just went in for a 32 Oz of sauce. My cashier wasn’t friendly at all and barely even acknowledge me. The whole team was working hard and my cashier was just standing there with a blank stare on his face. After giving me my receipt I just sit and waited for 10 minutes and at 7:09 I walked up and I’m watching the entire team running around dishing out orders fast working hard and the young guy up front is just walking around picking up straw wrappers on the ground looking for something to do. So I just asked him since I just ordered a sauce could he grab it for me and he laughed in my face and said “ …..oh shit “ in a stoner giggle just walked into the back of the store and another one of the already busy working cashiers got it for me. When your hiring younger kids give it to the ones that actually wanna work and have enough maturity to perform a job.

I’ve never experienced such unjust treatment in all my years of doing business , especially not from a Cane’s franchise. For nearly 18 years, I’ve supported this brand, so to be treated with such disrespect and by the franchise owner himself is truly disheartening. A contractor connected to the location advertised tables and chairs for sale. We were provided the address and made the drive over an hour to make a purchase in good faith. Upon arrival, I greeted the contractors & asked for Samuel. They told me he was gone to home depot to wait he’s coming . They pointed to where the tables were & told me to take a look at them . I didn’t need all of them so I was picking out the sizes I needed . While waiting on Samuel the owner of location arrived we greeted him, only to be met with a look of disgust. Moments later, his lady contractor came outside and abruptly told us we had to leave. This a corporate location we can’t be selling to competitors!!!! As an entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience, I pride myself on treating everyone with dignity and respect , regardless of race or background. It was deeply hurtful to be dismissed not only because we are Black business owners, but also under the assumption that we were “competition,” simply for trying to buy wood tables to add to the many we have already. I showed proof of the FB advertisement, yet the staff member was rude and dismissive. If this is how he treats fellow business owners, I can only imagine how he treats his team. The founder of Cane’s is from Louisiana just like we are and we were raised on principles of kindness and hospitality. I came to do honest business, not expecting to be stereotyped or turned away based on assumptions. This experience was unacceptable, and I truly hope this is not the culture Cane’s supports at a corporate level. Store was located at 5030 Greenville Ave

Used to like Canes but a couple of stores near me is so Filthy ( GULFPORT MS) not sure if its under new management or new owner. We went there as soon as they open in the morning the floor is so sticky full of crumbs that appears to be from the previous days. The table is dirty., everything is filthy. We end up throwing some of our food especially the coleslaw

I recommend it but Cane's needs to offer chicken like well done or regular, mine was like I'm chewing rubber because it was not completely cooked.
