Kehlani made our staycation amazing. We didnt need for anything!. We will definitely be back to enjoy the "Retreat" vibes.

It was fine. Unfortunately no little touches to make a birthday feel a bit more special. Also, they were out of a few food items and some orders took a while to come out with a few reminders asking the staff the status of orders.

The biggest issue is that you can only order from your Daybed server to count towards the minimum. No one explained that, so we go to swim up bar, order 2 drinks and then once we get drinks we are asked if we have a Tab or want to pay. We tell them we have a Tab, they can't find it. We then tell them about our Day Bed. Bar tender gets pretty upset and aggressive tells us that's not how it works an we need to pay for the drinks with him and it won't count towards our minimum. Really bad experience. I have never seen anything like this.

We had a daybed at the pool on a busy Saturday in August. $300 for 2 people was a lot to spend on food & drink so we didn't meet that threshold. Plus, the pool closed at 5:00 so really not enough time for 2 meals. Our server was good but very busy taking care of several cabanas & daybeds as well. She did the best she could do but service was slow. It was overall a good day. My one complaint is that the daybeds & cabanas at the pool with the swim up bar had huge LOUD speakers set directly behind our daybed & next to rented cabanas. It was SO LOUD ALL DAY. You couldn't even talk! The morning was nice before the music started blasting. They should move speakers to the other side of the pool where there are no daybeds (by the jacuzzi). If I go again I will ask for a daybed that is the farthest away possible from the speakers. The speakers were literally a few feet from our heads. You could feel the music from the ground up. It was brutal. The pool was nice & that's were we spent the day.

Service was fantastic! Hayley was our server and she was attentive, kind and quick! It's a bit pricey for a mid week pool day but the lazy river more than makes up for it. Overall, a great day by the pool. Thank you!

We had an amazingly relaxing day at Retreat Pool! It was such a treat to lounge by the pool on our daybed, catch some rays in the sun, nap in the shade, and have food and drinks brought to us! The lazy river was amazing, service was top notch (thank you Adina!), and it was all-around a perfect day. The music was loud, but we didn't mind it; it made for a great vibe! We don't live in the state but if we're ever in the area again, we'll be back to Retreat!

This is my second year having my birthday there and let me tell you once again I was not disappointed. I got a cabana again and the price alone is a steal! Adina was my server again and she isn't the absolute best!! The food was great, and the vibes were immaculate.

Overall good day. One gal Ordered salad and it took 3 hours to receive. Another asked for medium rare burger and twice it was well done.

We spent the perfect July afternoon soaking up the sun at The Retreat Pool at Sycuan, celebrating Pride with their Industry After-Pride Pool Party. We reserved a daybed for two through OpenTable (super easy), right in front of our friends' cabana. It ended up being the best decision of the day. We kicked things off with their Summer Crush cocktail—a refreshing blend of Hendry's Vodka, orange liqueur, fresh orange juice, and lemon-lime soda—served in giant 32 oz souvenir cups. With drinks in hand, we grabbed an inflatable inner tube and floated down the lazy river, basking in that dreamy SoCal sunshine. When we returned to our daybed, fresh towels and our lunch order were waiting for us like a VIP room service fantasy. I had the Turkey Club Sandwich with fries—smoked turkey, cheddar, lettuce, tomato—and while they forgot the bacon at first, the staff quickly brought me out a separate plate of crispy, piping hot bacon that made everything right in the world. My wife opted for the buffalo wings (6 pieces, perfectly sauced), and we sprawled across our daybed feasting like ancient Romans. Between bites and floats, we joined our friends in the main pool and enjoyed a fabulous poolside drag show, complete with inflatable floats and plenty of laughs. The vibe was festive but relaxed, and the service throughout the day was friendly and attentive. Whether you're local or just visiting, The Retreat Pool is an absolute gem for a summer day. Great cocktails, delicious food, good vibes, and the kind of carefree fun you wish you could bottle and keep forever.

We've done the cabana and daybed about 10 times and this was by far the best service we've gotten ! Our server was super friendly and attentive! Food was great ! Must be under new management because it's a different vibe !! Thank you

We have done the cabana several times at Sycuan. This past weekend we did it two days in a row. Server shared that there were only two bartenders working and it was taking exceptionally long to get drinks. I feel bad for the servers, it's not their fault they said managers were helping the bartenders. The pools completely sold out so more should've been scheduled. Food is mediocre at best. Would like more options for snacks, crudite, dips, etc. not enough inner tubes for everyone in the lazy river and the music was awful on the 19th. Not worth the over $1200 we spent.

Haley was our server for our day bed and she was awesome! She should be your trainer. Great time!

Went for my 30th birthday. Wasn't a bad experience but probably will be awhile before we go back. The bar was the main downside. Drinks took a very long time and even after multiple drinks not one was actually good. We even tried to add juice to make them better but just not something we wanted to drink. There was 6 of us and we all agreed they were not worth the money. I was really looking forward to a good margarita by the pool for my birthday but that just didn't happen after a few times trying.

Beat staycation at Sycuan. We upgraded to the Cabana and had the best time ever as it was well over 90 degrees. Food was good, music was a little load but the audio tech lowered it a bit after we asked. Service from Alexa waa awesome
