Today I ordered a cake from them with a picture of my brother and his wife for their Umrah. The cake they gave me was fresh, the picture was perfect, and honestly, I’m not usually a cake person, but I really liked this one. Everyone loved it! It looked so fancy that we didn’t want to cut it 😂.
The service really surprised me ; I was a bit nervous when placing the order because I’m picky, but the girl was very patient and super nice. Everyone else was really sweet too. The quality has definitely improved for the better. I hope the shop reaches even higher ranks! I really loved the cake’s quality and taste. Wishing them continued success and all the best 🌹.

I drive 40 mins from Temecula just for these sweets! The staff are always nice, the flavor of their sweets and cake are always top tier, and they always give you samples of whatever you ask for. I highly recommend this place for anyone in San Diego!!!

Royal Sweets in El Cajon is my breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Honestly eating their sweets makes me feel like my mama is alive and baking for me. That kind of comfort is priceless (and they have good prices). Comforting and nourishing, even for desserts. Clean, intentional, balanced, and not artificial. No fake sugar-bang versions a lot of restaurants sell and pass off as “homemade”, which make me sugar crash or feel regret eating.
And to all the middle-child fellow locals who comment about customer service: Go wine to your own mama or put some baklava in your mouth. Auntie is very sweet. 🍰🍨🥮👩🍳

Usually they made the best baklava in they area but this time it’s was terrible, very wet, saggy and too sweet.
I’m not buying from this place anymore

We just happened to drive by. It was around lunchtime but we hadn’t eaten yet. We ended up stopping nextdoor at Mr. Shawarma and then decided to go take a look. It turned out to be better than Mr. Shawarma actually. The staff were super friendly and handed us a few treats to try without us even asking. Everything looked delicious. We bought a small box, maybe 20-25 treats and it cost about the same, $20-25. We all enjoyed it, and though it was tight inside, they were managing the crowd.

It was unique experience, I have tried a couple of different deserts and It’s rare to find baklava that level. Staff was welcoming and helpful with explanations. 👌🏻
